How to shoot a rainbow?
It's always exciting when a new mural goes up in Los Angeles, especially when it's a stunning rainbow mural! I just discovered this bright and colorful mural last week in Pasadena and the timing could not have been more perfect because I also just recently got this rainbow sweater from Forever 21. I truly think the sweater was made for the mural or perhaps it's the other way around! Regardless, I think this mural was definitely made for me, even if it is outside of a children's museum and probably intended for a younger audience! Another great thing about this mural is that it says "Shine Bright" on the parking blocks at its base. Between the bright colors and the positive message, it's hard not to look at this mural and smile from ear to ear! I actually didn't plan on the parking blocks matching my turquoise/mint suede shoes so while the sweater was intended to match, the shoes were definitely a happy accident! Overall, I couldn't have been more happy to discover both this fun mural so close to home and also this fantastic sweater at such a great price! With all of the rainbows, my cropped sweater, and my ripped boyfriend jeans, I feel like I am truly channeling the 80s with this look, which makes sense because I grew up in that decade! It's funny because that doesn't seem like it was all that long ago but I am sure that to the kids at the museum, the 80s probably seems like ancient history!
