There are many great pole and bush bean companion plants you can try in your garden. Here's a full list of them, along with a few to avoid.
Generally, beans are an excellent food source that can be used as green vegetables and they have great nutritional benefits. One easy and simple garden crop to grow is the bush beans variety. But do you know if bush beans need a trellis for support? Keep reading for information on this.
Planting with kids can be a lot of fun! Out of all the different seeds that I've planted with kids, I've had the most success with bean seeds and kids get excited because they grow pretty quickly. Materials hand lens bean seeds clear plastic cups potting soil plastic spoon (for soil) markers to put student names on their cup(s) container with water Directions Begin the lesson by providing the students with some bean seeds to examine. Have students use a hand lens to observe the seeds. Ask students what these seeds would need in order to grow. Elicit from students that the seeds will need: soil, water, sunshine, and air to grow. Provide each child with a cup, a few bean seeds, and some soil. Have students fill their cups half full with potting soil. Have them place two fingers in the soil and make a few spaces for the seeds, then drop in a few seeds and cover the seeds over with soil. Ask students to brainstorm the best locations to place their newly planted seeds. Have the students water the plants and place them in a sunny spot (window sill, etc.). Have students observe their plants each day to see if they need water. Have students keep a daily log of their plant growth by sketching and/or writing about what they observe each day. Have fun! The teacher can make a few holes in the bottom of the cups for students (using a nail or pencil point) prior to passing out the cups to students to prevent the overwatering of the plants. Day 1 Follow Up Have a selection of plant books at the children's reading levels for them to spend some time reading independently or with a partner. For younger students, the teacher can read a book to the students. (Example: The Tiny Seed by Eric Carl ) Do a movement exercise with kids in grades K-2. Have the students crouch down and pretend to be a tiny seed just planted. Pretend to water them, and have the children slowly rise (their stem is growing). Pretend to add more water and they can now stand tall and spread their arms (their leaves are opening up to reach the Sun.) Day 10 Day 10 - Back cup didn't grow! :(
Are you wondering what are they about ? Read this post and have an understanding on what is the difference between EDT, EDP and Parfum.
This is sort of a bean inception. I really love beans. Pinto beans. Black Beans. Green Beans. Okay, the green beans are a stretch but you get what I mean. My Mom made beans a lot. It was more like a beans soup because it was liquidy not refried. I love refried beans a lot too. When she passed that ended my bean fast track. Until my wife started making them and she makes awesome beans. So flavorful and tasty. They make great refried beans too. She makes so much that I am in bean heaven for a week. I say heaven only because of the cloud of farts that follow me for a week.
If I had to choose one vegetable to grow, it'd be green beans. Beans are wonderful plants, providing benefits to our bodies and our garden soil. Through my many years of growing beans in my own garden, I have discovered a few tips to share with you on how to grow green beans. [by Melissa Norris]

This is for 50 Organic, Non-GMO Seeds. High germination rate and heavy producers. A bush bean with gorgeous purple pea blossoms followed by royal purple long pods. These have a bush form and do not require a trellis or stakes to climb on. The pods turn green when cooked and are delicious! Ideal temperatures for planting are between 70-80 degrees. Sprouts quickly. Harvest in only 50 days! I combine shipping on all seed orders, you pay one flat fee for as many seeds as you would like for no additional shipping. Orders over $35 for any combination of items in my shop ship for free! All of my seeds are tested and guaranteed. Most of my seeds are fresh off of my own plants. See below for full planting instructions. See the last photo for a printable version of planting instructions that you can print by simply pressing and hold CTRL and then pressing P. - - - - Plant when temperatures are between 70-80 degrees. Planting time will depend on your climate. Choose an area that gets full sun. Dig out an area a few inches deep and replace the soil with a good garden soil. Manure and/or organic compost is also beneficial. These have a bush habit so they do not require staking. Plant seeds ½ to 1 inch deep. Water well and continue to water daily until they sprout, then water as needed. Seeds will sprout in only 1-2 weeks. You can add some vegetable fertilizer while they are growing if so desired. I like to use an organic chicken manure for organic gardening. The blooms are a beautiful purple followed by equally gorgeous purple beans. A NOTE ON SEED STORAGE: The key for seed storage is cool, dark and dry. If your temperatures are not quite right for planting, you can keep the seeds viable by keeping them in the plastic bag that I send them in (which is thick and food grade for specifically this purpose,) place that in a paper bag to block light and put it in your refrigerator until you are ready to plant. This can be done with most all seeds and will keep them viable for 1-5 years depending on the species. If you have a basement, you can store them there as well. A sealed mason jar in a paper bag is also ideal.
