Yann Faucher’s website is full of polished, carefully constructed images for fashion editorials - crisp, clean and multi-layered, they ooze the kind of feeling he is known for and commissioned to create. And it’s very beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but over on his Tumblr the overriding aesthetic is one of rawness, and somehow that’s far more exciting.

Description Got this one to look much more rat like, but still more cutesy. I figured by this point that I needed Sharper Angles in the face to get a more aggressive look.
The objective of the study is to dissect the facial expression of an existing person, analyze and label the major muscle groups on the head and neck. Dua Lipa is a well-known face, with symmetric expressions for this analysis. The muscle layer shapes and positions are an output of the skull shape, so that is where the study starts. Here demonstrated are the major skull bones and neck muscles, underlying the facial muscles that bring our feelings to the surface of our skins.
