Crikey! These are original crochet patterns inspired by the Australian environment. This is part of a crochet series and features Australian Reptiles of the Water. This pattern package gives crochet instructions for a Northern Territory Crocodile, Australian Short Neck Turtle, and Turtle Hatchings. These are reptiles that live in the rivers and water ways of Australia. The Turtles have an interesting indigenous design. Three separate patterns are provided, with additional instructions on making a Turtle soap holder or sachet. Instructions are provided in both Australian/English and American terms. Patterns will be emailed to you in a pdf format. There are no shipping costs. Materials used include 4ply crochet cotton with a 1.75 (5 steel)hook, or 20 thread , or Cotton Pearl 8 with a 1.00mm (10 steel)hook. Hatchlings are a great project for thread scraps! This is a mixture of nasty and nice from the Australian waters. Make your own novel bookmarks, or motifs to be used on clothing, home decor items or accessories. These little fellows look fabulous on towels! All designs are fair dinkum original and are protected by copyright. Please do not reproduce my patterns by any means. While I am happy for you to make these for personal use, gifts and charity fundraising (but not to be sold on the web), do not sell to make a personal profit. (c) crochetroo 2006 I have used a considerable degree of right brain thinking and offer these for your enjoyment.

Before dinosaurs, before reptiles, even before fish, cyanobacteria ruled the Earth! Forming clumps in shallow seas, these little beauties changed the atmosphere of our early planet and changed the course of life forever. Why not celebrate the beginnings of life, and cheer up your desk or lab, with a cute little plush cyanobacteria filament! ButterflyLove is pleased to present cyanobacteria filaments knitted out of a lovely manmade yarn - a perfect gift for the paleobotantist in your life! This listing is for ONE cyanobacteria filament. Each little filament is stuffed with hypoallergenic polyfil. They are approximately 7 inches (18 cm) long and surface cleaning only is recommended to keep them in tip top condition. Please note that as cyanobacteria filaments are organically formed, you may end up with a filament with three small bacteria on the right and two on the left, or vice versa - if you have a preference, please let me know when ordering. Please note that this is a collectible piece and it has not been tested by an authorized company to certify child safety. Please use your personal judgment when purchasing for anyone under the age of 12 - it is not a toy and it poses a choking hazard for children under 3. As with all ButterflyLove creations, it has been made in a pet and smoke-free environment. And, as ever, custom orders are more than welcome. (c) 2018 Dawn Finney
