Sometimes Santa's elves are suspect AF.
Welcome to the Lost In History page that brings back to light the rarely seen images of the 20th century.
Welcome to Elflandia - the land of Santa's elves - busy making toys and getting ready for Santa's yearly trip round the world to bring presents to all the deserving humans on the planet. But wait! Do human beings really exist? The reports the elves have heard are not very encouraging. Many are grumpy and stressed at holiday time, others are downright sour when they wake up from a nap, and some are just big and loud and hairy! Discover what the elves learn about humans when Santa shows up with a real living sample! The ensuing effort to get Elfie Selfies with as many humans as possible makes for a rousing closing to the musical! This 25-minute holiday musical features five original songs and easy-to-learn rhyming dialog with over 25 speaking parts. The Teacher Edition includes piano/vocal arrangements with choreography, helpful production guide and digital access to PDFs of melody sheets, lyric sheets and dialog. To perform with recordings, there are 2 options. A Performance/Accompaniment CD is available separately. For cost-saving value, the Performance Kit/Audio Access includes the Teacher Edition and digital access to performance/accompaniment audio recordings. 25 minutes. Suggested for Grades K-3. From Santa's sleigh direct to your lounge room.
A jolly pair of Santa's elves, toasting each other for a job well done, at the end of a long day of woodworking on a tight holiday deadline. Together these fellows (with their tall hats & clinking Wassail cups) form the letter "W." Their workbench is still scattered with the tools of their trade (inspired by Joseph's tools in Campin's Mérode Altarpiece), along with a generous bowl of wassail. The background is decked with a garland of greenery. The colors are warm & woody with subtle holiday touches of red & green. Signed archival giclée print reproduction of an original painting executed in acrylics over a collaged background of text (scanned from an old dictionary, including the definition of "wassail") on 6"x 6" canvas. For the original art , please see: http://etsy.me/1wCTDVu One of a series of "Curiotype" paintings created for Anu Garg's A Word A Day 2012. If you'd like to see more of my work for AWAD, please see: http://etsy.me/1qWNs9O The print is 450+ dpi on heavy archival paper, using Epson UltraChrome inks for longevity & accurate color. The untrimmed paper size is 8.5"x11" (215.9mm x 279.4mm), with the live image available original size 6"x6" (152.4mm x 152.4mm) or enlarged to 8"x8" (203.2mm x 203.2mm). If you would like an even larger version, please contact me for a custom listing. I will sign & date it in pencil, pack it carefully between cardboard for safe transit, & mail it First Class USPS. ***Please request insurance if desired.*** It may take a couple of days to pack & mail but should reach you in about a week within the contiguous US.
