This book is the first book in a three part Science Series which helps teachers of Year 1 meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum in their science classes. This book helps students to make links between the four sciences by examining all four areas within one book. Young children are naturally curious about the world around them. This book provides them with opportunities to explore the world around them by: experimenting with materials, asking questions, recording observations, investigating and reflecting, and devising new ideas/ theories about how the world works. Each activity page is paired with a page of notes for the teacher.
