This is a sorting board for the three main PLATE BOUNDARIES. I LAMINATE the boards and pieces and then use velcro to attach them to the board. This Sorting Board Includes: Convergent, Divergent & Transform Boundaries (they are each color coded and include the following sorting pieces) -the arrow movement -the words describing the movement -an example of each boundary in the world -hand gestures photos with arrows (students can practice the different hand movements to assist them in understanding the plate boundary movements) There is also a SECOND set that is NOT color coded. I tend to give the color coded version first to my students, and as they feel more comfortable with the material, I then given them the non-color coded version to test their understanding of the content! This is a WONDERFUL activity for students with special needs as an introduction to new material, an enrichment activity, assessment tool and or a study guide! This item could also be left AS IS and given to students as a CUT and PASTE activity. I hope you enjoy this!
