Insta @LisaMcNielPhoto every day Oh my, what to say about Erika and her wonderful botanical garden and historic old town senior session... First of all, Erika is a delight; happy, encouraging, open to making new friends, confident but humble. I would happily clone her. She is on my Senior Model Team and you can see her in the Runway 7 Boutique Group Shoot in Deep Ellum, Dallas , 7 Tips on How to Take Prom Photos, Santa Paws with Your Dog, and College Shirt Shoots (coming soon). She is part of the Varsity Cross Country Team at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. You can see the polite and dedicated bunch of girls and guys out in the mornings in packs running in the wee hours of the pre-dawn. Erika's also in National Honors Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta - a mathematics honor society, and is headed to the University of Texas in Austin this Fall. For those of you not in Texas, you have to be in the top 7% of your class for admission there, so suffice to say, Erika has a big brain! All that running gives her mega stamina. In her free time, she likes to play soccer, take hikes with friends, ride bikes, and go adventuring for coffee shops both near and far. As if she has that much free time... when she's not in class, studying, volunteering or getting in her miles for Cross Country, she works for Palio Pizza in Highland Village. Erika would like to major in pre-law so that she can one day become an Immigration Attorney. That top photo was an entire page in Rame' Magazine Senior Portrait edition. Crumpled cowboy hat, shorts and boots for the win! We started Erika's session at the botanical gardens, that were partly under construction, but we moved in and around it. Then she donned this darling black and rose long romper for a city look. Erika's photos made it in to Rame' Magazine - Senior Portrait Edition, and Senior Year Magazine this year! This yellow top popped against the green in the garden. She brought a book and glasses to highlight her love of reading. I wish I had pictures of my mom and me like this. I do have some with my daughter like this at her wedding, but I love the interaction between the two of them. She has so many "looks" and this casual outfit with the Texas ball cap shows just one more side of her warm personality. Don't try to come between a girl and her Daisy covered spare jeep! Best wishes, Erika. And as they say in Pixar land... Adventure Awaits!
Gabi drove to Athens for this golden hour senior session and we got SO lucky with the weather! It was gloomy all day until about an hour before our shoot when the sun came out and wow was it stunning. This location is one of my hidden gems in Athens - I love all the big open fields here! Be sure

I've known Maddie since her freshman year when I did senior photos for her older sister. I was just starting out, but somehow Maddie had faith in my work and kept up with me throughout the years. I was so excited when she decided to be one of my senior reps this year because she is exactly the kind of person I want representing my brand. Maddie is a huge self-love advocate and has recently overcome an eating disorder. She is full of fire and she is so strong. I know she is going to do amazing th
Guyer High School Senior Photographer - Portraits of a Senior Girl This senior session began with darling blue-eyed blond Aryanna in a maroon floral romper in a park in a variety of light and poses with her corgi who STOLE THE SHOW! What a ham! But he couldn't outshine his best friend. On the bridge, superimposed on a brick wall in an old brick vintage town, with flowers in her hair, or on a fence. Mom's perspective: Ary is the SUNSHINE in our lives! She has a GREAT LOVE for animals and a BIG HEART for helping others. Ary has a BRILLIANT MIND that will someday make a huge difference in the lives of others. Her WICKED SENSE of HUMOR keeps us laughing to the point of tears! No one could ask for a more genuine, LOVING and LOYAL friend. Ary is a BEAUTIFUL young lady inside and out. Ary loves music and knows exactly what she prefers to listen to on the radio. As a toddler in her car seat, Ary would insist on which songs we played on our drives. Still today, she takes charge of the radio from the second she buckles up! LOL Ary makes my soul HAPPY and is one of the GREATEST BLESSINGS in my life! I can't wait to see what her future brings! I adore the backlight and sun in her hair in an urban as well as country setting. Her expression and great pose with soft hands and wind in her hair are what I love most about this photograph. You can see the blur and back light in this image from the park gives Aryanna dimension and depth. Below is the one her family chose for their canvas wrap. The greenery, flowers, and stone wall at the park frames her beautifully. Aryanna said her Van Halen concert t-shirt, black skirt, denim jacket and sneakers was her favorite outfit. She wore it at the end of our shoot by the bale of hay, on the train bed with an American flag, and dog, with little white lights, and in her car. The top two of this collage are more moody and delicate in a turn-of-the-century pictorial style, but with an updated twist of back lighting. In fact, the one of her looking out the beveled glass window and looking down also remind me of that style. It's fun to juxtapose that style against her sassy look in the tilted hat on the street smiling for the camera. Oh my stars, will you look at this ham? That furbaby thought it was all about her! When I can, I like to incorporate a sunset shot with more dramatic lighting, and her doggo smiled for the camera! Those eyes!!! This over-the-shoulder look with trees and light blurred in the back makes me smile! Class of 2020, seniors portraits of a sweet girl and more to come of the students who had the year cut short. Hunter was one of the first seniors I had a session with for the group and we laughed about classes and sports, never did we think school would end on March 13.
