6” embroidery on blue linen. Thread painted mountain scene with a soft beautiful sunrise, dark mountain scape and quirky 3D floral field.
Original Hand embroidery hoop art. Very detailed contemporary artwork. This landscape art is embroidered by hand using cotton floss and 100% linen fabric. I framed it into the medium embroidery hoop with hanging. I used a high quality original DMC floss so the colors won’t fade and the picture won’t lose its vividness and brightness. The size with hoop is 5.5" For the back side I used a piece of felt with a stitched “Hare in Hands” words. Care: do not wash in washing machine. Do not use any brushes or something that can hurt the stitches. Gentle dust off from time to time

Using embroidery, yarn, and and wool artist Ana Teresa Barboza creates landscapes and other imagery that exists in the space between tapestry and sculpture. Mimicking the flow of waves or grass, each piece seems to tumble from its embroidery hoop where it flows down the gallery wall. Most of the pieces seen here are from her 2013 Suspension series, though you can see more on her blog (be sure to click “entrar” next to each item). More
This scene is made completely out of fabric. Details were hand embroidered onto mixed layers of recycled and gently used fabric to create this composition. This is a peaceful scene with a beautiful floral patterned field in the foreground and a collection of white houses in the background. The matting paper is somewhat textured with a blue inner border that reflects the pale blue of the sky in this scene. This artwork measures about 13.75" x 9.5" including the mat and the visible embroidery measures around 10" x 5". The back of the embroidery is visible when the piece is flipped over.

French knots, chain stitches, and straight lines become peaceful countrysides and abandoned shacks overrun by moss and vines in Katrin Vates’s embroideries. Using bleached canvas as a base, Vates works with thread in natural color palettes of greens or autumnal hues that she lays in variable lengths and thicknesses: she conveys a glistening ocean through flat, even stitches in blues and white, while tufts of neutral tones become cropped fields and dried bushes.
