Vintage BILL BLASS 1970's Duchess silk satin gown. The gown has an amazing shape, and is constructed with exceptional craftsmanship. Pearlescent ivory silk front panel with rich red satin sides and back. Long sleeve, fitted bodice with voluminous, flared bottom sweep. Concealed back zipper entry. Covered button detail at inner sleeve hem notch. The interior body is fully lined in lightweight silk georgette, and the seaming of the lining mirrors the same blocked construction of the front. The sleeves are lined in self satin. The dress is in excellent condition inside and out. Underarm to underarm: 16.5", Flat waist from side to side: 15.5", rear shoulder to shoulder: 13", center back length:56.5", hem sweep: 49", underarm down to sleeve hem: 15"
