This is a Shabby Chic style quilt pastel vintage bag from handsewn. I sewed the solid-colored, patterned pastel cubes together one by one. Pink can be found in all materials and I also preferred the rose pattern. I made the quilt bag unique with vintage cream lace. The inside of the bag has a strong inner lining, an inner white cotton material lining and a cotton pocket. The quilt handmade bag is made with a strong shoulder strap. The quilt handmade Shabby Chic bag shown in the photos has a height of 39 cm, a width of 48 cm, and a shoulder strap of 52 cm. This handmade quilt Shabby Chic tote bag is a wonderful Mother's Day gift, girl friend gift. The quilt handsewn Shabby Chic bag is a very nice gift for a granddaughter or for Christmas. Each bag is individually designed and sewn by hand, so the Shabby Chic bag is a handmade work of art.

As beautiful and popular as journals are, they are not the only thing that can be made from my monthly Handmade Club kits. A question I often get asked is “what can you use the graphics for”… and really the answer is anything that you are inspired to create. Everything in the kit coordinates and fits a specific theme for the month, so you know that you can mix and match any of the items in the kit. The graphics are usually quite large, so that crafters can resize them to suit whatever they are creating. Mix in a set

This listing is for one hanging quilt pouch (greenery not included.. was just for display). This was made by me. I cut both the front and back from a "shabby chic" style quilt. I am not sure of the exact age of the quilt. When creating this listing, it gave me the option to choose the age as "before 2003", and I believe it was, so I chose that option. I used my sewing machine to sew the front and back together. I did not sew the top edges so they are "raw edges" and may fray a bit. I also sewed on vintage lace so you could hang the bag/pouch. The quilt is cotton. It measures approximately 8.5" across and 9" tall plus about another 9.5" with the lace strap. The quilt was freshly laundered before I created this. This may have imperfections. As you can see, I added greenery (not included) to give you an idea of how to use this. Smoke free home.
Hello les filles, Voici mon "Pocket Letter" rose et blanc Merci de votre visite et bonne journée. Sandrine VACHON
I would love to surround myself with shabby chic. Slowly but surely it's coming together.
I have been waiting for a l-o-n-g time to show you this. Remember this post about being afraid to try new things? Ever since I saw these pocket pillows a few years back I have really, really wanted to make some but I have put it off and put it off and... ~ ~ Well, one day last January my family was gone for the day and I decided *today* is the day. I spent the entire day going through linens deciding what to use where. (Have I ever told you how much trouble I have deciding?) By the end of the day I was here: That was the first hard step. They sat again for a few months waiting to be finished. Finally, I couldn't put it off any more. It was time for the photo shoot of my bedroom and this pillow was going to be part of my bed shot. Another day was spent embellishing with all of the pretties. Even though I was afraid to try I had so much fun once I got going. I still have so much to learn but there is so much satisfaction in trying. I love them because they use all of my favorite elements: off white linen snippets of vintage lace cabinet cards and roses. I enjoyed adding romance. This one was for my bestest of best friends. I am so glad I tried! Now, on to something else new... You can check out all of the white pretties here.

Today we are going all granny chic… Although my inspiration for apron wearing comes from my grandmother, I’m pretty sure her aprons never looked anything like mine. My nan’s aprons were more the basic gingham variety with maybe a little simple pocket embroidery. Aprons of that era were generally your everyday half apron, pinafore or full apron. I like all of those aprons too… but that’s were the similarities stop. I like to embellish them with fun altered details… sort of a salute to that era, with a modern twist! Yesterday I shared my latest apron, a cross
Since we moved into our new house in February, there’s been a continuous list of DIY jobs and room renovations to complete, new gardens to plant and walls to be painted. It’s been exhilarating to see each new space come to life in our own style and I feel like we are almost nearing the end of the process. This means I can tackle a few of the not so important jobs and today I happily ticked off a small item on my list…. a key ring for the key that opens the French doors in the craft room. I
