The back and front are worked from the shoulder saddles to the armholes. After the underarm the body is knitted to the hem in one piece. The sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeve caps are knitted with short-rows to allow the lace pattern of the saddles to flow into the sleeve. A feminine jumper that combines a comfortable but still tailored fit with romantic lace and playful stripes. Stripes & bolder colour are kept on the top to keep the focus near the face, enhance the shoulders and for a slimmer silhouette, while the lace pattern of the shoulder saddle continues down to the sleeves until the cuff. The garment is shaped with darts for a three dimensional tailored result and the bottom flares out in a slight A line shape. A different lace pattern on the hem is worked in the sewn bind off and allows for a glimpse on the contrast lining. Techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials. A big Grazie to Michela LaMicky for translating this pattern into Italian! Martini Hand Embroidery Pattern - It’s always happy hour with a martini in hand. How do you like yours? Shaken or stirred? This one is super quick! A colorized pattern is included with this one so you can stitch by color if you like. Easy to follow instructions are included along with the pattern, thread color recommendations, left and right versions, stitching instructions, and full color example. My patterns are great for beginners because they come with so much information. Preview is an incomplete image of a finished example. Your pattern will include the full image. Measures approximately 2.25 x 3” for the small one and 4 x 5” for the larger one. My hand embroidery patterns include instructions for various stitches, how to transfer the design to your fabric, complete start to finish instructions for embroidery projects, thread color recommendations, a full color photograph of a finished example, pattern, a mirror image of the pattern (if applicable), and in most cases a colored line pattern, so you can stitch by color. Keep in mind these are manual embroidery patterns, not machine embroidery patterns. In some cases there are multiple sizes included, but you can shrink and enlarge them yourself on the computer or with a copy machine. I try to include enough instructions so that a beginner can easily do each project. Currently the majority of the hand embroidery designs are only available as digital downloads, I do take requests, I can and will make printed hard copies and kits available if you ask using the request customization button. In the mean time, instant gratification of a digital download is wonderful. Why wait for it to arrive in the mail, when you can have it now? I've got lots of designs in the works! If you have something in mind that I don't have up yet, shoot me a message and I will move it up on my list of embroidery design priorities. The patterns included in this listing are in PDF format, which any computer can open using Adobe Acrobat (free program). Please let me know if you would prefer them in .doc format (MS WORD or GOOGLE Docs) or in .txt/.jpg formats, and I can email you the files in that format when you complete the purchase. Also, please let me know if there is a problem with any of the files.
