What a great tradition! Hand cut full figure silhouette of your child(ren), pet(s), spouse, friend, or yourself. (Also called a cameo or shadow portrait by some.) The silhouette itself is hand cut from french silhouette paper using german surgical scissors and several years experience as a portrait artist. I go for detail and accuracy as well as a pleasing design overall. Since I am a mother of 3, I approach this form of portraiture with passion and heart. All you have to do is send me a few photographs of the subject holding their favorite toy or blowing bubbles etc. either by e-mail or snail mail. Have the subject stand at a perfect 90º angle to the camera as if you are taking a picture of their ear. Allow lips to close together in a relaxed position (no smiling). I mount full figure silhouettes onto at least an 8x10" acid free bristol board for one to three subjects but often move up town 11x14" scene depending on the composition. Upon approval, I will ship to the address associated with your payment and it should arrive in one to two weeks depending on your location and the time of year. Let me know if you need to rush the order and I can rearrange the cue for a $10 fee.
