This pattern is free and always will be. I hope it inspires you. Invite over some friends you haven’t seen in awhile and knit Little Kindnesses together with scraps from your stash. Knit a Little Kindness for someone and drop it in the mail for them with a nice card to let them know you’re thinking of them. Take your neighbor a Little Kindness and a plate of cookies. Just give one to somebody and say, “hey, this silly little thing made me smile and I thought it might make you smile, too.” Because in the end, I don’t think anyone ever wished they hadn’t spent so much time on being kind.Note: Right now this pattern is for double pointed needles and knitting in the round. In the near future I'm going to add a version on two needles, so that all knitters can use the pattern freely.

Paint Paddles are NOT just for mixing paint. :) I Decided to make some Bible Facts Review Sticks. These are based off something I saw on Pinterest. (BTW, I love Pinterest!!!) I have by no means exhausted ALL the Bible Facts, List, People, etc. Matter-of-Fact, I need to finish the one I am making for the Kings of Israel, The Prophets of both the Northern and Southern Nations, The Beatitudes, Acts of Worship, Parables, Jesus Attributes, etc. These will be used as an EAA...for the first few weeks....However, I am probably going to be using them as I teach on the topics, too. Letting each one of the Kiddos ADD a piece as we talk about the subject. I am also considering using this method as a WAY of telling the Bible Story....If I do, You will see it here on the website. Enough of my rambling.....This is how I made these. I purchased these LARGER paddles for $0.28 each at Walmart. Then, I printed and laminated pictures from our Bible Flip Facts Charts....making sure to make ONE picture for the HEADER pic that I glued on the TOP of the paddle. I then attached the prickly side of adhesive VELCRO strips to the paddle. I then attached the soft side to the pics. My thoughts being... LITTLE HANDS would be holding the pictures and I did not want them to get stuck by the prickly Velcro. It really did not take much time to make these....Cutting out the little pieces took the longest time....but, I can "watch" more like LISTEN to a movie or the news while cutting out laminated items. :) Days Of Creation Paddle Putting It In Order. This is how we will use the Review Sticks. I will be handing the KIDDOS a Paint Paddle with all the Velcro pieces in a baggie. Then they will have to PUT the pieces on the Paint Paddle in the CORRECT ORDER. (With my help and encouragement, of course.) Completed! These are ready to go for SUNDAY. We will be using them as this weeks EAA!!!!! I love it when I get to give the KIDDOS something "NEW" to do. And, anything that helps them LEARN their Bible Facts!!!!! Hope you are excited about this FUN, EASY and CHEAP way to help our KIDDOS learn their Bible FACTS! Blessings, Ronda

I am officially on Spring break! Two whole weeks off to rest and get ready for the home stretch of this school year! :-) I am so excited to catch up... on chores, seeing friends I haven't seen since Christmas, blog stalking, and so much more! Here is one of my very favorite art/writing projects we do all year!!! They always turn out adorable and they never fail to get some laughs from the adults! I got the idea from Patty at Deep Space Sparkle. If you haven't checked out her blog, you SHOULD! It is full of amazing (and doable) art ideas for your classroom (even if you aren't very artistic like me!) She even has them organized by grade level! So...the kids first did their writing about what they would be in 20 years. Here's the template we used: You can get this {HERE}! Here's a completed one: "In 20 years I will be 28 years old. I will live in a college dorm. I will be a police officer and I will take bad guys to jail. I will still love my family and I will still love meat loaf. I still won't want to eat spinach. And most importantly, I will be happy." The writing always turns out absolutely adorable! Then they drew what they would be in 20 years. They used an example I purchased from Deep Space Sparkle (from the "Fun with Self Portraits" pack!) Then they colored it in with markers and outlined their self portraits with a black marker. We painted the backgrounds, and a parent volunteer mounted them on construction paper and attached their writing. We had: Police officers (love the handcuffs!) Race car drivers (love the 'stache! And the braces!!!) Marines (so grouchy!) Ballerinas (adorable!) Artists (too cute!) And football players (not just football players- quarterbacks!) among many other things! Like I said, these are always a hit, you can keep them up as long as you want (i.e. until the end of the year because you're too lazy to change your bulletin boards LIKE ME!) because they're not holiday-ish (??? not a word! I know) and the kids love creating them! Check back soon...I'm thinking give away in celebration of Spring break! :-)
These coffee filter dancers are SO PRETTY! I really love how bright and colourful they are. And the best part is that you only need a few simple dollar store craft supplies - They're actually really simple to make! We used Crayola washable markers for this craft, but you can also use Mr. Sketch markers. (Do you remember those smelly markers?? I was so excited to see that they still sell them!!) Just make sure the markers are washable, otherwise the colours won't bleed. Even my 4 year old little guy wanted to make one (mostly because he reeeeeeally loves

"Unposted Letters" is a collection of illustrated stories by Indian visual artist Vimal Chandran that portrays various soulful moments of life captured in a frame with a pinch of surrealism in it. The main characters from the illustrations are a boy, a girl, and a red umbrella wherein the red umbrella is often shown as a metaphor for Love. Each illustration is a letter from the boy to the girl accompanied by a caption/prose. Vimal started making Unposted Letters illustrations in 2010 and they are mostly inspired by pop culture. The illustration style is very minimalistic but vibrant and conceptually driven.
