"I’m not looking for realism; my work seeks a feeling of life and soul."
The astonishing aspect of the world of art is that there is no such thing that should be considered astonishing by any standards but it still manages to make us feel that things are astonishing. That is why we are going to be talking about life like figurative sculptures that are astonishingly so real that we can literally make the expression of the sculpture you are looking at. In many instances, especially when it comes to classical art, sculptures lean more towards suggestive, symbolic and indicative rather than realistic. But in this article we are talking about figurative sculptures that are astonishingly lifelike. It not like these gleaming and glowing delicate glass sculptures but still mesmerizing nevertheless.

This is Jean Luc, a debonair goose wearing a French sailor shirt, a beret and a dashing scarf. He is a wonderful little guy to give as a gift, to a daughter, granddaughter or niece, or to keep for yourself. He will always bring a smile to everyone! On a child's bookshelf, keeping guard over beloved classics and picture books, on a mantel by a vase of flowers, or among a display of beloved collectibles. He is of heirloom quality and will be enjoyed for years! He will arrive in a Kraft gift box, nestled in tissue, tied with baker's twine with a wooden cranberry. My clients have told me they love opening that box to see their little fellow peaking up at them! I love what I do,and try to share my excitement and respect for the art of handmade with everyone. Each of my animals is designed and handmade from scratch by my two hands in my smoke and pet free home based workshop in Michigan. Needle felting is the art of taking unspun wool roving, and poking it thousands of times with a special barbed needle to firm and sculpt it. He is 4 inches, ( 10 cm) tall. He has a wire armature within, so he is gently posable. His eyes are glass. Please keep in mind that he is an artist handmade collectible, and is not suitable for children under eight years of age, or pets. I will ship him in 7 to 10 business days. 'Mesmerising flesh', by Tamara Kostianovsky is an abettor of sumptuous fabric carcasses with guts of tropical foliage inhabited by incredible birds. Created from clothing Tamara explains that this medium was affordable to her as a student and the fabric often came from clothing she had accidental shrunk in the wash. The 'carcasses' are suspended and rotate along a runner so they are viewed from all angles and are redolent of a fashion show. These pieces are rich, sumptuous and equally compelling and horrifying just like real carcasses. “I grew up in Argentina during time of dictatorship, so these works for me are made with political intention to denounce the influence of that dictatorship on the female body,”

About The Artwork This sculpture is based on an idea of an abstracted heart shape. It consists of painted silk, thread, beads, plastic string, yarn, and polyfill stuffing. It is meant to express the beauty and hope the heart continues to hold even when constrained or experiencing struggle. There is much surface embellishment, lovingly hand-sewn and applied, lending tactile interest and textural contrast. It can be wall mounted or set on a pedestal. There is no hardware; the strings on this piece can be used to simply hang the work.
