Press Sample Hello readers, Lucky 13 Lacquer recently overhauled some of their favorite holo shades with spectraflair pigment for even more rainbow! I have four revamped shades to share with you today. Luckily, the springtime sun finally arrived so I could really capture the holo sparkle. Vakyrie Valkyrie features a nude base with a strong pink flash and holo shimmer. The formula was quite sheer. After three coats my nail line was still very apparent. One nice thing is that even with a single coat there were no streaks or patchiness. You could definitely use this as a 'my nails but better' shade'. If you want an opaque colour I would recommend laying a coat or two over a nude base. Sooo Changeable Sooo Changeable is a flecked foil duochrome that shifts from blue to purple with a strong holo shimmer. It took three coats to become opaque. It dried very smoothly and self leveled perfectly. Photos show three coats of Sooo Changeable with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze in direct sunlight and daylight spectrum indoor lighting. The War Doctor The War Doctor features a metallic flecked base that shifts from purple to gold with a strong holo shimmer. In direct sunlight I found it leaned a little more gold-brown and in indoor light it leaned more purple. This had the same easy to work with formula as Sooo Changeable but it was a tad more pigmented. Sworn To The Sword Sworn To The Sword features a charcoal grey base with a strong holo shimmer. The formula on this one was excellent with no issues to report. Conclusion My personal favorite of the bunch is Sworn To The Sword. It has such a nice rich squishy finish even when you're inside. The duochromes also both had great formulas and are quite pretty. I was disappointed with Valkyrie's sheer formula and don't see myself wearing it alone again though I might try layering it over some other shades to see what effect it has as a topper.
