Strawberry Stained Glass Mosaic I’m a glass artist in the Midwest. I’ve been working with glass in many different capacities for over 20 years. I make each piece by hand in my studio in Indiana. Each piece will be uniquely made with care and attention to detail. Because each piece is an original, colors and placement of glass will vary from the pictures posted. Each piece will be unique- no two are exactly the same. Each piece of glass is cut by hand (by me) in my studio. It is attached to one side of a thin piece of wood. Once set, I grout each piece and add final touches. These are mosaics so light does not travel through the glass. They aren't intended to be hung in a window. You have two options. 1. Magnet- A strong magnet will be attached to the back. It's super strong and durable. Sizes and placement will vary. 2. Ornament- Either a hole(s) or a hanger will be added to the piece to allow it to hang. Ribbon or twine will be added. You'll be able to hang it like an ornament on a tree. Each piece is unique and made with artisan skill and a creative eye. They are light-weight but sturdy. Items weigh about 1-3 oz. Sizes are listed by their longest edge. Stained glass panel measures 35”x11” This panel was constructed using the copper-foil method. Each piece was hand-cut, ground to fit, wrapped in copper-foil and then soldered. Dark patina was applied to dark the solder lines. Finally the piece was cleaned and polished . Original panel is sold but I would love to work on a similar design for your home.
