Hi everyone! Its May 8th and that means the reveal of Spellbinders Club Kits is here! Today I'll be sharing inspiration for the Small Die of the Month and Stencil of the Month club kits. This month's theme is tropical paradise and each of the sets are fabulous! Club subscription info: The new subscription sign up window is from the 6th to the 27th. After existing club members subscriptions have been processed, any inventory remaining will be available for new subscriptions. Continuing Subscriptions will charge on the 5th of each month, which means existing Club Members will be able to cancel subscriptions or make edits to payment or shipping info up until the 4th of each month. MAY 2024 SMALL DIE AND STENCIL OF THE MONTH May's Small Die of the Month is called Tropical Friends and features a parrot, a toucan and tropical foliage for them. This die set is SUPER cute and I can see this being a fast sell out! I googled Toucans and Parrots and was AMAZED at all the bright colors these birds can have. They almost seem fake they are so vibrant and colorful! I chose bright fun colors and wanted to keep the background clean and white so they could POP off the page. I used the Leafy Helix EF for some texture. MAY 2024 SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH For my second card I combined the Small Die with Stencil of the Month, which is called Tropical Spray and has 2 layering stencils with abstract water or wave droplets. I wanted a fun shaker element for this (I'm still trying to make at least 1 shaker card a month), so I used the ovals from the Fran's Frames die set and filled it up with some pretty pink and green shaker elements. I used green inks with the stencil for a nice monochromatic backdrop for the pretty pink parrot. I really love how both of these turned out. Products used on these cards: Small Die of the Month Stencil of the Month ----- Yana's Special Sentiments Glimmer Hexi-Gems Sentiments Glimmer Leafy Helix Embossing Folder Fran's Frames die set Gina K Design inks in Grass Green Catherine Pooler ink in Matcha Spellbinders Foil Roll in Bright Pink Pinkfresh Studio Clear Drops in Blush and Magenta Acetate sheets Clear Shimmer Glimmer Brush Marker Shaker card elements If you haven't already, be sure to check out ALL THE CLUBS they are pretty fabulous! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Stay tuned as I have some inspiration for the Wax Seal of the Month club coming up!

It's Sale-a-Bration Sunday! I'm kicking off this years series with an amazing fun fold card. I'm featuring two Sale-a-Bration products today, the Jungle Pals Stamp Set and the Jungle Pals Dies. These products are earned free separately but together they make one incredible bundle! You can earn the Jungle Pals Stamp Set for FREE with a qualifying $50 order and you can earn the Jungle Pals Dies with a qualifying $100 order. You can get both FREE with a $150 order PLUS at $150 you'll also earn some Stampin' Rewards-that's a free shopping spree for more amazing products! This fun fold is like a triple accordion fold. I'm not sure of the exact name of it. I learned this fold in a class by fellow demonstrator Chelsey Christensen. I loved it! It's so fun and there's plenty of room to make amazing scenes like in this card! In addition to the Jungle Pals Set and Dies I'm using one more Sale-a-Bration freebie, the Most Adored DSP. This DSP is perfect for Valentines and it has amazing gold foil accents. My backgrounds on the three panels are all created with Blending Brushes and some ink. I wanted to keep them simple with a faux watercolor look to them. There's lots of room to write a message on the panel between the alligator and tiger. I colored all my images with Stampin' Blends. Colors are all listed in the supply list below. The Jungle Pals Stamp Set doesn't have any greetings so I pulled out the new Mini Alphabet Dies in the Mini Catalog for my fun custom greeting. I added some hearts with some Petal Pink glimmer paper from the Three Color Glimmer Paper Pack, this is an Online Exclusive in my Online Store. I love all of these sweet animals. If you love this fun fold then make sure to check my blog tomorrow for a different version of this fun fold! Hi everyone! This week we are getting messy at Simon Says Stamp and Show. The challenge theme is 'something messy', which can be a lot of different things. I love to get messy and often walk around with blue or green hands, or as in the case of this accordion card, pink hands with a touch of Perfect Pearls. For this project, I decided to use ink mist, which is one of the messiest mediums (and lots of fun). Since it is Valentine's day this week, I wanted to use my new Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz Valentine Blueprint stamps and decided to showcase them in Karen Burniston's fun Sizzix 3-D Flip Accordion Album. Here's the finished album. The Accordion Album is such a great die, you can make a really large project with it, just out of a Bigz die. You can add as many pages as you need and it would work for any topic. I did a step-by-step tutorial on this album last month, you can find it here. The technique I used for the misting and stamping is similar to what I did on this Just Add Pearl project. Die cut four panels from watercolour cardstock using the Bracket Frame & Label die, which coordinates perfectly with the Accordion Flip Album die. Stamp the four blueprint images on these with Archival Jet Black ink. Leave to dry for a little while, or help them along with a heat gun. Paint the areas you want to keep white with art masking fluid, using an old paint brush and immediately clean the brush. Leave to dry. Working on one panel at a time, mist it first with water and then with Bubblegum Pink and Postbox Red Dylusions mists. The water help the mists to blend really nicely. When dry, mist again with Perfect Pearls mixed with water in a mini mister (or use ready-made Perfect Pearls mist). When dry, rub off the masking fluid and see that it has resisted the ink mist perfectly. This is a very easy masking technique, and most other masks would take longer to make and would likely not resist the mist as well. I wanted some colour on the masked areas, and painted them with distress inks applied to my craft sheet and misted lightly with water. I used Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, and Barn Door. I cut a fifth label from watercolour paper, white embossed a sentiment from Tim Holtz Love Struck set and misted in the same way as the others. The Accordion Album pages were die cut from Crowded Attic papers and stamped lightly with a love definition stamp from the same Tim Holtz set, using Frayed Burlap ink. The album is very easy to assemble, you can see step-by-step photos in my tutorial. For the front panel, I die cut the outer frame with the Bracket Frame die from another piece of patterned paper, and glued it on top, otherwise, the back of the patterned paper would have been visible. The first panel both serves as the front page of the card, and shows as the first panel when the card is opened. I used wood veneer hearts, arrows and potty people as embellishments. Every second panel connects with the other in front of or behind the frame of the card. These stamps are awesome, the heart is my favourite, and will work real well on non-Valentine projects too. The playing card will fit lots of other themes too, in fact, I have something totally different in mind for it for another project. I placed Cupid on the last panel so that his arrow is aimed towards the other panels, leading the eye back in to the accordion card. More wood veneer shapes. The ticket was stamped with Jet Black ink on a manila scrap which had been coloured with Distress Stains (Victorian Velvet, Antique Linen), and stapled to the frame of the card, so that it also peaks out with the accordion is closed. Get messy this week and you can be the lucky one to win a $50 gift voucher from our fabulous sponsor Simon Says Stamp: Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy your week! Happy crafting! Happy Monday Everyone, Today's post is for the Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge this week. I saw this card by Bronwyn Eastley and liked the way she had used the strips of Designer Paper, rounded the corners and the flower, so using those ideas here is my card. Similar but quite different. Thanks' for the inspiration Bronwyn. I have embossed the Very Vanilla layer and snipped the petals of the bottom two layers into the middle so the petals are more flexible. I used my bone folder and fingers to shape the petals of the flower and used a dimensional between each layer. I added the Scribble Swirls and the Champagne Stampin Glitter for the finishing touches. Oh my goodness! Do you ever buy a stamp set on a bit of a whim and then absolutely fall in love with it? Well, the Country Flowers Bundle was that for me. I'm a sucker for a teapot (both real and stamped!), and I also love a set that provides the opportunity to colour in, so this one made its way into my shopping cart. For this card, I paired it with Country Lace DSP, and used that to base my colour scheme on. I coloured the image using Blends in Smoky Slate, Misty Moonlight and Boho Blue. I am also loving the Spotlight on Nature dies - circles in lots of sizes with pretty detailed borders. These are getting quite a workout! I'll be back with another card soon!
