My trees are in bloom already and it's starting to look like spring in the desert. I have to say, this might now have been the place I'd have chosen to spend the later years of my life, but in the spring it is just gorgeous. So, I put a little spring in my card for the Pals Paper Arts challenge. If you would like to join in just click the PPA link in my right side bar, you will see many more cards based on this sketch. I'm using So Saffron, I think it's my favorite yellow, so soft with a hint of gold. I also used Perfect Plum, Old Olive and a touch of Tangerine tango. Love, love, love this Hardwood background stamp, it just works so well for so many things, here it's the fence for the flowers to grow against. The sentiment is from See Ya Later, if you like this set now is the time to get it, it's one of the free sets with a $50 order from any current product. This special ends the last day of March so time is getting short. I added Candy dots to hold down my greeting and used the Bitty Butterfly for accent with rhinestones for bling. To purchase any of these items, or just to look around or get more info, just click on one of the photos below. Thanks so much for stopping by. I sure would love to hear what you have to say about my card. Gisteravond heerlijk even met mijn nieuwe Stampin'Up stempels aan de slag geweest. Door dit kaartje werd ik geinspireerd, wat een mooie kaart. Groetjes Marie-Claire
Sometimes it really is just a little kindness that can make all the difference in your day! So I love the sentiment in the "Kinda Eclectic" stamp set that says just that. Here is another card where the sentiment is the focal point... This card has some of my fave things on it...those fun Tea Lace Doilies (use them ALL the time! Won't begin to tell you how many packages I have gone through. :) ), the small scallop edge (made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch), ribbon, (LOVE the new In Color...Hello Honey!), Chevrons, banners, etc. The color combo is Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Pink Pirouette, and Daffodil Delight (with Hello Honey ribbon cause it worked well!). Here are a few more up-close pics so you can see some of the details... Hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions! [email protected]
This is my favorite time of year - better than my birthday, better than Christmas, better than Spring. I love when the leaves are turning and the weather is cooling off and we are gearing up for Thanksgiving. If I can use last year as an accurate gauge for this year,

Oh what a night!! Last night was the Stampin Up Catalog Premiere Event - for the first time EVER Stampin Up broadcasted a Live from Long Beach, CA to almost 40 locations throughout the United States. 1 being my hometime of Marlboro, Massachusetts!! Since I usually have to travel hours to the closest event when SU comes around, you can imagine my excitement. We were so excited Mom and I painted our car windows, or in my case, my truck windows...because nothing says "Red Carpet" like a pick up truck with window paint. Or was that "Red Neck"??? I'm sure it's "Red Something" hahaha. It actually came out cool, my kids helped. My demonstrator group and friends all met at Olive Garden for a super fun dinner first. Hoping someone got a better picture than this one because there was so many of us, we didn't all fit in the picture. The second is me and my friend Selene Kempton at dinner. 2 of my gals were asked to do registration for the event and had to miss dinner, so we photobombed Marie Aviza and Teresa Howe while they were working the desk. They also go to hand out prizes and the new catalog at the end of the night. The event was AMAZING!! We got to see lots of techniques, new products and got a new stamp set along with the new Catalog!! Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin Up) took the stage and she looked fabulous, she gave an update from her accident she says she feels great. MEET THE NEW STAMPIN UP CATALOG!!! Most of what was shown, we aren't allowed to share yet. Especially images, only the cover of the new catty. Here it is in all of it's glory!! Here is some news I shared live from the event on my Facebook Page in case you missed i: Blendabillities: The first 6 sets of the Stampin Up Blendabilities alcohol markers will be available to demonstrators may 1, and to customers June 1! New Fast Fuse adhesive. Think 'sticky strip' in an applicator like Snail adhesive. (both Snail and Sticky Strip adhesives are still available) Dazzling Diamonds Glitter lives on! There was a scare on the retiring accessories, but DD was actually only being reconfigured, it is not going away. WHEW!!!!! Stampin Up Leadership 2015 will be held in Orlando, FL. January 29-31, 2015. All levels of Demonstrators will be able to attend.

It's been so much fun FINALLY being able to share all these samples I made for Stampin' Up's Display Boards at Convention this year! We couldn't share them until after convention, so thanks for checking them out now! :) Here is another card done with the "Amazing Birthday" stamp set. I LOVE this set!!! The card... How versatile is this set?! I mean...really?! Last card I showed with this set was Rustic and Vintage-y. This card is bright and whimsy! (If you missed the other card...just click HERE or on the "2014 Convention Display Board Samples" label on the right side of this page to see them all!) I love the 3D circles on this page. They would even lay flat to get in an envelope if you wanted them to! Here is a pic that shows them better... So fun, right?! All you do is just punch however many circles you want (I used 4 here). Fold them in half and adhere them together in a half circle. (You want the back flat so you can adhere to card.) Then just adhere to your card. Easy and fun! Love them! Here are a couple more views... Hope you enjoy this color and it brings some BRIGHTNESS into your day! Thanks so much for visiting!!! Let me know if you have any questions! [email protected]

Today at SSINK we are highlighting the many ways to use the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. This is one of the sets we received at the 2014 Inspire. Create. Share. Convention in Salt Lake City, which we then used to create a couple of make n takes while there. This set definitely will have to keep growing on me as I continue to use it, but I am up for the challenge! To get my creative juices flowing for this card, I used Retro Sketches #126 along with the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #191. Updated 8-12-14 Thank you Hand Stamped Sentiments for choosing my card as one of your picks!! I just loved the blues, purple, and green in the inspiration collage! Stamp Sets Kinda Eclectic, And Many More (sentiment) Ink Perfect Plum, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana Blendabilities (to color rhinestones) Paper Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Coastal Cabana, Mossy Meadow Accessories SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Rhinestones Tools Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Bitty Banners Framelits, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch
Hello, I'm here with a really quick and easy card using the new Kinda Eclectic stamp from the brand new SU! Catalogue, if you don't ...
Raspberry Ripple #2 #ColorCoachJourney Hi It took about 3 different cards to realise this colour combination of Raspberry Ripple, Pink Pirouette and Old Olive! Seriously man! Pink & green shouldn't be this hard! LOL Anyway, CASE Study came to my rescue....when I saw Pamela's wonderful card, I knew exactly what I wanted to try. I'm also submitting this for consideration as a Guest Designer at CASE Study.....love that challenge! This is a new stamp set called "I Like You" - it contains some beautiful folk-art inspired line art flower stamps....which are perfect for colouring with the new SU Blendabilities and I have seen a few cards on the internet that use it in this way....I wanted to use it in a different way though....and use the traditional blender pen way of colouring. I stamped the flowers in Raspberry Ripple using a post-it note as a mask to leave a centre panel for my sentiment. I used my blender pens to pick up Pink Pirouette and Raspberry Ripple to colour in the petals. Old Olive was used for the leaves. The 'Just Because' sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts. Hope you like my card! Cheers Alison xx Materials used: Stamps - I Like You, A Dozen Thoughts Ink - Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette Cardstock - Whisper White Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, Post-it Notes, Stamp-a-majig (essential!)
I made this for the Pals Sketch Challenge #208. I really like this sketch. I almost made a masculine card, but I needed one for an online friend's birthday. She is also an awesome customer! I used some of the new dsp. This one is called Moonlight. I don't know about you, but when I'm making a card, I tend to stamp a few colors and play around to see what I like best. I have a pile of pieces that didn't make it. I'm really trying to use some of them. So.....I had the little flower stamped and punched out. I pulled out the hexagon punch to make it pop. I also colored in my candy dot with the new Blendabilities. The color was just a little off so I colored it darker to match the Hello Honey dsp. Thanks so much for your comments! I really appreciate them. p.s. I always admit my mistakes so I must confess, as I was adding my products I realized that I goofed with the ribbon & hexagon shape. They are Rich Razzleberry and the ink I used is the gorgeous new Blackberry Bliss! I can see the difference but it's too late to remake it. All I can say is thank God it wasn't a color challenge! LOL Does it look way off?
