All good things come to an end. Today is the last day of projects from my Sending Love One-for-One Card Swap. I have so enjoyed sharing them with you and have loved the responses you've given to these projects. Over the past month, I've been running to my mail box
I made this card for the weekly sketch challenge. It’s so delicate and pretty. I used the Lifetime of Love Dies to cut out the oval and flower pieces.
I couldn't resist the beautiful gold foiled Stampin' Up! Forever Love Designer Series Paper and the co-ordinating Lifetime of Love stamp set & dies bundle. It's a timeless & elegant design and I used this suite to create a birthday card which I designed to hold a small gift in the inside pocket. To allow for the extra bulk inside the card, I added a card 'spine' of 0.5cm. Tip: To create extra interest, I diecut the floral element of the frame in gold glimmer paper and layered it over the main Pretty Peacock coloured diecut frame. To complete the card I added some Adhesive Backed Dragonflies too. The current Stampin' Up! products used on this project can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia. Thanks for visiting.

02/04/2023 Edited to add dimensions... please see below Hello and Happy Tuesday! In my continuing effort to stamp more and participate in blog challenges, I created yet another fun Valentine's Day card featuring the Love Cats stamp set. I think this one will be perfect for my son.... which one in my series has been your favorite? (See them here, here and here) The first blog challenge I participated in for today's project is the Inkspirational Challenges blog. This is a bi-weekly challenge blog. They chose the mood board above as inspiration for Challenge #282. I used the layout as well as the color palette as inspiration for my card. The second blog challenge I selected to participate in is...

Words cannot express how much my best friend means to me! She is a treasure and I'm so lucky to have her. I've wanted to get her something GREAT for Christmas as a Thank You for all she does for me and for others. This is the card I created to go with the Spa Gift Card. These are all new Stampin' Up! products that can be purchased in January 2024! Now, I was a little ambitious and decided to paper-piece the flowers and leaves on the frame! Whew! I a lot of work, but it came out beautifully! My Best Friend is so worth it! Thanks for taking a closer look! Stamp set - Hope You Know Ink - Memento Paper - Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Basic Black, Basic White Accessories - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine, Adhesive Sheets, Lifetime of Love dies, Layered Florals 3D embossing folder, tweezers, Wink of Stella
The Pop Up Block Fun Fold Card design is so cool. It looks complicated but once you break down the steps, you just repeat them for each block.
As well as presenting Forever Lovely at On Stage Auckland, I also had a board to display other samples for people to look at. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so here are some of the other ways you can use Forever Lovely, whether you are an avid, casual or beginning crafter. The edgelit in the Forever Flowers die set matches that pretty floral fretwork spray, so it was just begging me to use in with an acetate window. Inlaying die cuts can be a demanding task but the new Take Your Pick tool made manipulating those tiny pieces easy-peasy. Something less demanding is to stamp the two-step spray twice, with a 180 degree rotation. The flowers have a coat of clear Wink of Stella that really sets them twinkling when they catch the light. If you're not a Valentine's day person, grab out Itty Bitty Greetings and change it to what you want: You're Engaged, Happy Anniversary, Many Thanks... you choose. For something really quick and easy, how about these lunchbox love notes or briefcase billet-doux? That little distinKtive heart cluster is a quick, sweet background to any sentiment. If you're liking the look of the Forever Lovely bundle, it will be available in January and there will be more to see in tomorrow's post.
The card I made today I will submit to the challenge at: Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge The stamp sets featured in this card are: Stampin Up: Heartfelt Stamping Up: Heart Happiness What a lovely weaved sketch. Makes me want to do the whole background with it. It gives such nice depth to the card. I'm grateful for the gals that come up with the sketches. I've been on the phone today quite a bit with our insurance company and then also the doctor's office. They want to refer me to a "rheumatologist". They did but I can't get in until the 15th of June, and my doctor said that's not fast enough and perhaps a different city would get me in faster, so that's where we are at right now, waiting for the referral team to contact me. So we wait, and in the waiting, I shall stamp and read. The two escapes from my troubles. 😊 Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping PJ * Just a reminder if you're looking to purchase stampin up products and are in need of a demonstrator. I'd love to earn your business. Please click on the stampin up box in the upper right hand corner to be directed to my website. Thank you ♥ That's the best I can do for a sales pitch.😉
