Fun Fold Friday with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle! This card was inspired by a swap I got from the leadership swap with the sloth from the Zany Zoo. Click here to see that card. I love all the detail from the Cheerful Daisies Dies! Emboss and cut all at the same time. This Fun Fold opens up to show off the beautiful Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. I left the inside of my card blank, so it can be used for anything I want when I need it (Wedding, Birthday, Sympathy, etc.) You can make this card too when you shop from my online store! I can only share with you freely because of the online orders I get. Without them, I could not buy the supplies I need to share. So please visit my online store to help encourage future creations! Stampin' Up! Only (SUO) Flower Challenge #328. I love flowers, so naturally, I had to enter this challenge! I used the Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle, Crafting With You Stamp Set and Delightfully Eclectic DSP to create my "Handmade Hug" card. For my card base I used Basic White cardstock followed by a layer from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. Another smaller piece of cardstock was layered on top with another of the same DSP. The center strip behind the flower is Petal Pink Cardstock, which was embossed using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. The flower was stamped using Petal Pink ink and the flower center using Crushed Curry ink. Next, I die cut the flower. The sprigs were die cut using Old Olive Cardstock. I tucked the sprigs behind the flower, added the ribbon with Seal+ to adhere in place and finally adhered the flower with dimensionals. Wink of Stella was brushed on the flower center to add a little sparkle. I used Petal Pink Ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack and cut a piece long enough to be able to loop behind the flower and extend on both ends. I pulled a piece of the ribbon to fray the ends, which adds a cool touch to the ribbon. NOTE: The ribbon, for some strange reason, doesn't fray as well on the opposite end. To remedy this, I cut another strip of ribbon and frayed the end that was much easier and adhered it behind the flower. To finish off my card, I added Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins. DSP was added on the envelope flap. The sentiment is from Crafting With You Stamp Set, inked with Petal Pink ink. I wanted to do something different, because if I fussy cut freely around the sentiment, it's almost always ends up a hot mess for me! So, I came up with this idea. Now, it may not be a new technique, but it works great for me. After stamping the image, I cleaned the stamp and pulled it off the stamp block and lay it directly onto the stamped image, lining up the stamp with the words. Holding it in place with my fingers, I traced lightly around the stamp with a pencil and fussy cut, erased any marks showing and adhered with dimensionals. Boom! I have a sentiment with a unique border around it. Let me know if you have tried this technique in the past or plan to give it a try. Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White cardstock. Using Petal Pink ink, I stamped the flower image using Petal Pink ink in two corners. Hello and Welcome to our Sunday night Blog Hop CASEING the CATTY. To CASE is to Copy And Share Everything or to Copy And Selectively Edit and we love to CASE from our amazing Stampin' Up! catalogues. This week, we are CASEING the bundles chapter at the back of the catalogue. I've cased the card above in a previous post here, but this time I decided to Case a project on page 156 I CASE the colours and layout and used the lovely Cheerful Daisies bundle for the feature. As I'm using a different bundle for my card, I've adapted the edge by using some of the white core Berry Burst Specialty paper - it's on page 127 of the catalogue and comes in a pack of 10 sheets in the colours of: Azure Afternoon, Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Fresh Freesia - isn't the white edge so cool!!! I've also used the Bright and Beautiful Memories and More cards and envelopes for the base card and added some lovely Vellum basics paper for a bit of extra interest. Inside the card is some simple stamping using Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist - and what a glorious combination of colours they are!! There's also a little Daffodil Delight in the centre of the flowers. Up next is marvellous Michelle!! Check out all the other projects here on our Facebook page. Bright and Beautiful Cheerful Daisies It's time!! Stock up to enjoy and create with delicious paper!! Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!) And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in joining my Stampin' Up! family - contact me to find out how. Check out this cute Stampin' Up Cheerful Daisies dies card with the daisies peeking out from behind the dsp. Fun way to use dies.
Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a theme challenge today and here is what I created for our hop. I'm dedicating this card to my friend and upline, Mary Deatherage. She'll understand why I didn't put it in the mail! Did you guess the theme? and it's quite the fun fold, isn't it? Need a closer look? It was easier to make than it was to photograph! I used the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, Lemon Lolly Cardstock and the Cheerful Daises Stamp Set and Dies. Here's a pic of the front... The sentiment is from the Sweet & Precious Stamp Set. There are many videos on You Tube that show you how to do this. I chose to follow the one here because she did the very thing the first time that I did! To me, it doesn't seem to make a difference that it is backwards from all the other demos. I do thank you for taking time for a look-see! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to TOK (the other Karen!). Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity. Amy Koenders Mary Deatherage Jaimie Babarczy Karen Finkle - you are here! Karen Ksenzakovic Tara Carpenter Terry Lynn Bright Carol Buckalew

Hello and welcome, My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'll be sharing with you the fourth of many blog hops. It's Week 4 of Colour Creations with the Art With Heart Team in Australia. This week's colour is Pebbled Path which is part of the In Color Collection for 2023 - 2025 and Stampin' Up! have created another beautiful new color to create with. I've used it with Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Basic White and I added some bling by using that gorgeous More Dazzle Specialty Paper in Champagne. I had some left over daisies from a project I created on the weekend, and I wanted to use them again. The White heat embossed daisies from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set are stunning and when you add colour either with a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber. It can give you a wow factor to your projects! I wanted to try out these colours together and I was very happy on how they turned out. The torn Basic White Cardstock was also left over from a previous card, I added Pebbled Path ink with the Blending Brush and Splattered ink by using the brush tip from the new Stampin' Up! markers. The other panel in Pebbled Path Cardstock is also torn down the side and dried embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I love to add texture and other elements to the card by adding other tools such as the Textured Floral Dies in die-cut out in Crumb Cake Cardstock. Linen Thread goes really well with Pebbled Path and my new favourite embellishment are the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems. The sentiment is stamped in Pebbled Path ink using the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my projects by leaving a comment below.
