Designer Drew Michael Scott refreshed this plain, “white box” 290-square-foot studio apartment with secondhand finds and a DIY headboard.
My studio redo has turned in to a never ending project. I guess that's just how it goes right? I did some posts a while back on how we were turning our garage in to my studio. But I never posted again, because I wanted it to be finished before you saw it.

The great thing about a boring brown-and-beige box of an apartment? It’s essentially a blank canvas, meaning your imagination can run wild when it comes to renovating. That’s part of what attracted me and my BFF and business partner, Mike, to this 202-square-foot studio apartment inside a Victorian-era-house-turned-apartment-building in Louisville, Kentucky.
Long, narrow shotgun homes influenced the design of this backyard structure by Studio B, which features a concrete base with grey metal and glass.
Hey friends! I'm excited to finally share with you the details of our garage remodel! This was my old studio which used to be the laundry room / master bedroom closet. Literally our clothes are behind the curtain! In the beginning this room more than met my needs because I only had a small line of cards & prints. B
Say goodbye to the industrial style.

This is it. The big trailer reveal. It's done. Sort of. Mostly. Let's face it, it will never be done, done. There are still windows to be replaced. The outside is not fully polished. I've got lots more decorating to do. We want to build a deck around it. But, it's workable. It's cute. I've even done a couple of projects in there! So, a whole bunch of before and after pictures for your viewing pleasure. And, as a side note, it took pretty much one year to get to this point. So, there it is! I can't believe it is mine. I really can't. The other day I was standing in there, cutting the fabric for my curtains and I thought to myself, "This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me." Truly.

The crazy transformation of our podcast recording studio!
With all the time you spend in them, home offices should be a place that makes you feel comfortable and inspired. But Samantha Steinbring’s (Casa Del Sol) home office fell short of that. “My office was a bland and boring catch-all space. It contained all the mismatched furniture from our move that had nowhere else to live,” Samantha says. The walls were a wishy-washy pale green, the decor was minimal, and overall the space felt unremarkable.
