Today I have for you my first fall card of this year, and my first official Sneak Peek from the new Stampin' Up! September - December (Holiday) Mini Catalog! This is the Pick of the Patch Bundle and it is SOOO cute! This bundle has six - what, 6?? - yes, 6 different pumpkin stamps to play with. It has a coordinating punch that punches out 2 of the pumpkins, a leaf, and a stem. I love punch bundles, they're quick and easy. Just punch and go! In the video tutorial below you can see the stamp set and punch,

Here's a fall card with a preview of the Pick of the Patch bundle. First, I've used the sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches#600 here. Wow what a milestone! I love to play with their sketches!! Second, the colors are for the Hand Stamped Sentiments#421 here. The colors to use are Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight and Copper Clay. These colors made me thinks of a fall card. Finally, I've paired these with the Addicted to CAS#244 here. The code word is leaves. I've used the new, Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks to create the piece with leaves. These will be available starting September 6th. Pick of the Patch is the stamp set with some All About Autumn Specialty DSP. Here's my recipe: Stamps: Pick of the Patch Papers: White, Copper Clay, Misty Moonlight, All About Autumn Specialty DSP Inks: Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay Accessories: Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, Sponge daubers, 2 3/8 Circle punch, Pick of the Patch Builder punch, Stylish Shapes dies, Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems, Ombre Matte Decorative Dots, Stampin dimensionals Product List Pick Of The Patch Bundle (English) [162201] $38.50 Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [159276] $10.50 Misty Moonlight 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [153081] $10.00 Copper Clay 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [161721] $10.00 All About Autumn 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 Cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper [162178] $15.00 Uninked Stampin’ Craft Pad & Whisper White Refill [147277] $10.50 Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin' Pad [153118] $9.00 Copper Clay Classic Stampin' Pad [161647] $9.00 Pecan Pie Classic Stampin' Pad [161665] $9.00 Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks [162331] $10.50 Stylish Shapes Dies [159183] $30.00 Deckled Rectangles Dies [159173] $30.00 Ombre Matte Decorative Dots [161448] $8.00 Adhesive Backed Solid Gems [161300] $8.00 2 3/8" (6 Cm) Circle Punch [161354] $22.00 Sponge Daubers [133773] $5.50 Basics Embossing Powders [155554] $18.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.25 Heat Tool (Us And Canada) [129053] $31.00 Add All to Cart

We are Nuts About Squirrels around here!! I loved playing with these adorable squirrels. Since my dog, Lucy's favorite pastime is chasing squirrels I had to get this stamp set just for her sake!! I just kept going with this stamp set making several different versions. For this first set of cards, I combined the leaves from the Time of Giving Stamp set with the Nuts about Squirrels set. I used the Layering Circles Framelits Dies to spotlight the smiling squirrel and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the squirrel and his treasured acorn! The brown card is Basic White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede Cardstock. Momento Ink, Stampin' Blends for coloring and Crumb Cake Baker's Twine. The gray card is Basic White, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Basic Black Cardstock, Momento Ink, Stampin Blends for coloring and the new Black & White Gingham Ribbon. 🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂 For a bit brighter card I used the Gorgeous Leaves set with my Nuts about Squirrels set. These leaves were stamped randomly using Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Crushed Curry ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. The Base of the card is Crushed Curry Cardstock and the mat is Cajun Craze Cardstock and again using the Layering Circles to frame my cute squirrel that has been colored with Stampin' Blends. On this one I used the Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon as trim. All of the supplies to make these cards are ready and waiting for you in my OnLine Store!! Just click HERE!!! Don't forget!! Sale-Abration is still going on through September 30 while supplies last! That means you can get free products with every $50 purchase!! The Sale-a-bration catalog with your choices is available on my side bar!! If you order over $35 using my hostess code posted in the top righthand corner, I will send you a variety pack of current 6X6 DSP -so you can see how beautiful it is and use it in your cards! I hope you enjoyed my Nuts About Squirrel cards!

Hello and welcome to Kylie and Bruno's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for October! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world sharing our love of stamping. We are all part of Kylie & Bruno Bertucci’s training group where we are having a great time learning and growing our Stampin’ Up!® businesses. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, welcome! My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in Texas in the United States. I’m so glad you stopped by today! You may be starting here or have arrived from another blog - either way, you can find the link list of all of the participants at the bottom of this post. Happy Hopping! Our theme for this blog hop is “Thank You”, specifically the thank you cards we are making to share with our customers this month. For my cards, I decided to use the Harvest Meadow Suite featured in the Stampin’ Up!® August-December Mini Catalog. The Nature’s Harvest stamp set and coordinating Harvest Dies are wonderful to celebrate the fall season or for anyone who loves the beauty of nature. The stamps and punch are sold separately OR can be purchased together in a bundle for 10% off. *I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post. Color Combo: Old Olive Soft Suede Crumb Cake Bumble Bee I pretty much used all of the products included in this suite! Everything just coordinates so beautifully together. The images in the dies can also be layered to accent the focal image. I added some extra “foliage” behind the main image using one of the images from the Harvest Dies and then wanted just a “wee” bit more. As usual, haha! So I added one more leafy image from the Meadow Dies (in the Annual Catalog) from Gold Shimmer Vellum. I cut the image in half to create two sets of leaves to place on either side of the stamped image. The shimmery detail just adds so much! If you have visited my blog recently, you might have heard how much I love the Cork Specialty Paper. I kind of mention it a LOT…so what’s one more time. :) This paper is so beautiful in person and adds so much gorgeous texture to cards. But it is also very lightweight, so it doesn’t add a lot of bulk. Speaking of bulk, I really wanted to add the Diamond Weave Ribbon to my card, but a bow just felt too heavy. I simply popped a little folded piece behind the sentiment just to finish off the texture and detail along with a trio of the Brushed Metallic Dots. Card Measurements and Details: Old Olive Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” and folded in half to create card base Soft Suede Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” Soft Suede Cardstock: 2-3/4” x 4-1/2”, embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and add some “dots” of Wink of Stella Cork Specialty Paper: 2-1/2” x 4”, add to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals Crumb Cake Cardstock: scrap to die cut the image from the Harvest Dies, sponge Crumb Cake ink around edges to add shading Gold Shimmer Vellum: scrap to die cut the leafy image from the Meadow Dies Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp the floral image in Momento ink, color with Stampin’ Blends, accent flowers with Wink of Stella and add to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp sentiment in Soft Suede Ink, die cut with Harvest Dies, add ribbon behind sentiment and adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals Diamond Weave Ribbon and Brushed Metallic Dots Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”, stamp image from Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in Soft Suede ink Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (inside card): 3/4” x 5-1/8" Finally, a look inside the card! I simply added another strip of that beautiful Designer Series Paper and I stamped the distressed image on the bottom corner. That image comes from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and I felt like it just worked with the earthy-vibe of the card. I decided not to add a sentiment to allow room for a handwritten thank you note to share with my awesome customers letting them know how much I appreciate their support of my business. Thank you so much for stopping by our blog hop! Leave me a message to say hello and to let me know you visited today. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things after a fortnight's holiday, so I jumped on board with the latest challenge at The Paper Players. Latte Love was still on my desk from yesterday and it seemed the perfect set to play with this great sketch. I switched out the squares for stitched circles from Stylish Shapes. The coffee based paper was neutral, largely using Pecan Pie, so any colour combination would work for the die cut cups. Once I'd picked Early Espresso, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green I picked one for the base and the mat layer. The inside is adapted to be a gift card holder for a coffee card as a thank you. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. You can leave a message in the comments or contact me using any of the methods listed in the Contact Me tab at the top of the page. You can shop with me from anywhere in New Zealand here. You can earn a free Creativity Abounds tutorial package from me with any purchase of $100 before postage. This month, our thirteen PDF package is on the theme 'Anything but a Card'. Welcome to September's Coast to Coast Creators Hop! This month we are sharing our creations using the September - December 2023 Mini Catalogue products! I chose to use the beautiful All About Autumn Suite Collection. The All About Autumn 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper has some of my favourite colours in it. I used Copper Clay for my card base, Very Vanilla for the next layer and Pretty Peacock for the circle. I embossed the Very Vanilla layer with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and added strips of the DSP on the left side. I wrapped the copper ribbon from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack around this layer and adhered it on the back. The sentiment from the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Very Vanilla, and die cut with the label from the Autumn Leaves Dies. The leaf was die cut from Oxidized Copper 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper. The veins on the leaf were die cut from the new limited edition Silver & Gold 12" x 12" Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper in Gold. The circle was die cut from Pretty Peacock with the largest stitched circle in the Stylish Shapes Dies. I topped it off with 3 copper Neutrals Adhesive-Back Sequins. The theme of today's post is the wonderful One-Sheet Wonder which is an old technique that never goes out of style. Each week in my customer Facebook Group and in our weekly Show & Tell Zoom sessions I set a challenge. Last week this was to create a One-Sheet Wonder then use it to make one or more projects. I was blown away by their creativity; we had dogs, leaves, flowers, snowflakes, pine boughs and even cars – and some amazing projects made with their sheets. Not everyone made cards; some made scrapbook pages or boxes, too! Really, anything goes. Best of all, everyone said they had really enjoyed the challenge and loved making their One-Sheet Wonders. If you’re not familiar with the One-Sheet Wonder concept, it’s very simple. It’s just a fancy name for making your own patterned paper so all you have to do is take a sheet of any cardstock – it doesn’t have to be white – and stamp all over it. I’ve stamped here using the new Beautiful Autumn stamp set – yes, this is my first Sneak Peek from the new August-December catalogue. I bought the whole Suite of products again because it’s just so lovely, but I have only had chance to use the stamps and dies so far. I wouldn’t say this was the ideal set for a One-Sheet Wonder, mainly because the images are so small that it’s quite time-consuming. This A4 sheet took me over an hour to stamp ... but then I did use eight different ink pads! However, I think it was worth it; I have to blow my own trumpet a little and admit I think it looks pretty fab. Hope you like it too! The Beautiful Autumn Bundle includes the Autumn Punch Pack; three fab medium-sized punches which create these gorgeous little leaves. The stamps are all two-step, too, so I stamped the outlines in a darker shade and then filled in with a lighter one. They’re photopolymer, so positioning is really easy. To mat the greeting, I used the Tasteful Labels dies on Soft Suede cardstock and embossed them using the Greenery Embossing Folder. My obsession with leaves and trees means many of my products co-ordinate beautifully across different Suites. My main tip for creating a One-Sheet Wonder is to start with the largest stamps and stamp randomly over the sheet, leaving roughly equal spaces between them. Remember to keep turning the stamps so you don't end up with a pattern. Take the next largest stamp and stamp again in a different colour. Repeat until you get to the smallest stamps. This allows you to maximise the space and get as many images on there as possible. I usually say to start with the palest colour and work your way through to the darkest colour, but this is one rule that is definitely made to be broken! When your sheet is stamped, you can cut it up as you wish to make as many projects as you like. I simply cut my sheet into quarters, then cut each one down to fit onto a card front, slicing them into thirds. The excess strips were used to embellish the insides of the cards. When you cut up your sheet, you may find you have some empty areas around the edges. Don't worry, you can fill these in with more stamping if necessary. Another tip to maximise your One-Sheet Wonder is to stamp all over with your chosen colours, then cut in half and add another colour to one of the pieces. You can repeat this if you wish to get lots of different looks from one sheet. One of the main advantages of a One-Sheet Wonder is that it’s a time-saving device if you have a lot of cards to make (unless you use tiny stamps and eight different ink pads!), which means it’s ideal for your Christmas cards or for party invitations. The other main advantage is that it’s very therapeutic. You just stamp away merrily without having to think too hard about what you’re doing. And we all need a bit of mindless crafting these days, don’t we?
