Stampin' Up! Coordination Product Release! Available to customers February 4, 2020! Demonstrators can pre-order today! Stesha Bloodhart, 2020 Artisan Design Team
Happy Boxing Day! What is one to do on Christmas morning whilst waiting for the family to wake up and start the fun? Why write your blog post, of course! lol. Welcome to the final Stampin' Creative Blog Hop for 2019! I'm Tamara Bertram, coming to you from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm THRILLED to be hopping with so many AMAZING demonstrators from around the globe. Truly an honour! This month we are bringing you Sneak Peak projects from the upcoming 2020 Sale-a-brations promotion. You don't have to wait much longer - January 3rd you can get SAB products FREE with EVERY $60 (Cdn) you spend. Yes, you will want them all, especially after you see all the great projects we have to share with you. So grab a pencil and paper, hop along and start that wish list for your next order! I decided to showcase the AWESOME "Happy Birthday To You" set. This set is PERFECT for birthdays AND for weddings. I came up with a layout I just LOVE and, as you can see, couldn't stop creating in a variety of colours ... Fun, right?? Yes, I used SCISSORS to cut out the cake but it really wasn't bad at all, as the image is large and easy to maneuver around. The coloured mats are 4 3/4" plus two ticks x 3 1/2" plus two ticks The white top layer is 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" On all Cards I used my 2 1/4" Circle Punch, run through the Scripty Embossing folder. I popped the layers and the cakes up on dimensionals. This card is in Soft Sea Foam and I used my Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink Blends to colour the cake ... and adhesive backed sequins for bling. The sentiment and cake are embossed in Silver Embossing Powder (EP). This would be a great wedding card ... and you could change the colours to be whatever the wedding colours are. Fun! This card is in Gold. I used my Gold Shimmer Paint and a QTip to colour the cake ... and Gold Faceted Gems for bling. The sentiment and cake are embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. Wouldn't this be a great card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary?? This card is in Purple Posy. I used my Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Blends to colour the cake ... and Silver Metallic Pearls for bling. The sentiment was stamped in Highland Heather ink, covered with Clear Embossing Powder and then heat set. This is a technique you can use to get an embossed image in ANY colour! Just make sure you have a juicy ink pad so the EP stick to it ... then heat set! The cake is embossed in Silver Embossing Powder. On this card I had TRIED stamping the sentiment with my Purple Posy Ink and covering it with Clear EP but when I heated the powder the colour changed to blue! Funky but not the look I was going for! lol This card is in Seaside Spray. I used my Seaside Spray and Soft Seafoam Blends to colour the cake. The sentiment was stamped in Seaside Spray ink, covered in Clear EP and heat set. The cake is embossed in Silver Embossing Powder and I used Silver Faceted Gems for bling. This card is in Basic Black. I used my White Frost Shimmer Mist and a QTip to colour the cake. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black ink, covered in Clear EP and heat set. This is my preferred method to embossing a black image. I find when I use the Black Embossing powder it always leaves little flecks of black on the card, despite using the embossing body. My way of doing it gets the same great black embossed effect but without the flecks! The cake is embossed in Black Powder (flecks really weren't an issue as I cut the image out) and I used Silver Faceted Gems, made black with my dark Black Blend for bling. So there you have it! Five samples of one layout, one stamp set but varying colours and em embellishments. This is my favourite SAB item this year and, as you can see, I have already used it a lot! Starting January 3rd you can get this set for free with a minimum purchase. I hope this has inspired you to get it! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season! Check out the rest of the SAB Sneak Peak projects my friends have created!

I'm re-posting this Blog post as it is one of my Blog Readers FAVE's and I received almost 500 viewings! _______________________________________________ Well, we survived our first Winter Storm of the year. We have lots of ice; but, hardly any snow. Our high temp for today is 36F with a low of 29F for tonight. And, those winds have calmed down … light and variable. Yay!!! My share for today is a Happy Birthday Card that I designed using some new products from Stampin' Up!'s 2020 Mini Occasions Catalog, the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and the 2019-20 Annual Catalog. Let's take a look: Yup … I'm addicted to this set too! I just LOVE these Guys!!! 😊😊😊 My Card Base is Bermuda Bay Cardstock cut at 6" x 6" and scored and folded at 3" for a side opening 3" x 6" Card. I chose the Bermuda Bay/Confetti pattern from stampin' Up!'s new Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper for my Card Front Panel. Using the Dies, I die cut the Grass from Old Olive Cardstock. I trimmed off the side of the Grass and adhered it to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the Bonanza Dies, I die cut out the Lion, Koala Bear and the Toucan from the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper. I also die cut out the Balloon, the Party Hat and the Sparkle Tassel. I also die cut out a Party Hat and a Tassel for the inside of my Card. I fussy cut out the Ice Cream Cone from the Ice Cream Cone pattern in the DSP. I applied Shimmery Crystal Effects to the Balloon, the top of the Ice Cream Cone and the Tassel for the Party Hat and let them dry. It's nice having the Shimmery Crystal Effects as it doesn't take long for it to dry. I adhered the Lion together with a scrap of Cardstock adhered to the back of the Lion's Body and Head and then adhered the tip of his Tail to his Tail. I pulled one thread from the Country Club Basic Black Twine, tied it around the Lion's tail and into a Bow. I cut another length of the Twine and adhered it to the back of the Balloon. I adhered the Lion to my Card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the Koala Bear to the top of the Lion's Head with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the Balloon next to the Koala Bear with a Stampin' Dimensional and the Twine to the back of the Lion's Tail. I adhered the Ice Cream Cone to the Koala Bear's Paw. I adhered the Tassel to the top of the Party Hat and the Party Hat to the top of the Toucan. I then adhered the Toucan to the top of the Koala Bear's Head with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using The Gang's All Mere Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, I stamped 'from all of us' in Black Memento Ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I trimmed the left edge off on my Stampin' Trimmer. I cut a length of So Saffron Metallic Thread from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, wrapped it around the end of the Label, tied it into a Bow and adhered it to the Grass with Stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the picture above. I trimmed out a panel of Whisper White Cardstock for the inside of my Card. Using the Bonanza Buddies Stamp Set, I stamped Happy Birthday in Terracotta Tile Ink onto the panel and then adhered the panel to the inside of my Card. I adhered the Tassel to the Party Hat and the Party Hat just above the end of the word Happy as shown in the picture above. I adhered 3 So Saffron Sequins from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure to my Card as shown in the picture above. Have a Blessed Day!!! Welcome to week 24 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Each week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are showcasing Magenta Madness, which is one of the 2020-2022 In Colours. For tonight's card I have used the Delivering Cheer stamp set. This stamp set is in the July to December Mini Catalogue and has Christmas images that can also be used birthday cards. I stamped the skirt image and the presents image in Stazon Black ink on Fluid 100 watercolour paper. These stamps are photopolymer (clear) which makes it easy to join the two images when stamping them. I fussy cut the image with paper snips. On a piece of Basic White card stock I stamped the background image from the Artistically Ink stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. I coloured the image with a Water Painter and Magenta Madness ink. I used a very small amount of Petal Pink ink on the arms and legs. I stamped the greeting from the Best Year stamp set in Magenta Madness and Basic Gray and then cut out the words and adhered them with Dimensionals to the card front. Inside the card I stamped just the presents by selectively inking the presents stamp, avoiding the lower present and the arms. I used Basic Gray ink so that I could colour the image with Magenta Madness Blends Markers. The greeting inside is also from the Best Year stamp set. I coloured some of the Rhinestone Jewels with the Magenta Madness Blends Markers and left some clear. The next stop in our Magenta Madness Blog Hop is the blog of the amazingly talented Rachel Palmieri If you encounter any issues with the blog links head to Catherine Proctor's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants. I've shared several floral projects with the Birthday Blooms stamp set and the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper - both are available in the January 2016 Occasions Catalog. You can see these recent projects here and here. While the flowers are certainly a standout in this set and in the
I always get kind of sad at the end of May..... There are so many great products from our Annual and Occasions Catalogs that are retiring!! So....... I try my best to "play" with as many of them as I can before they go!! Here are a couple of great examples of Designer Series Paper that I'm really going to miss!! This first card features a Pineapple Punch card base, a layer of Night of Navy card stock and the star of the show..... that gorgeous Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (DS). As of this blog post, this DSP is still available, so order it will you still can!! There is just something about this paper that I can't get enough of!! And.... I love those "pops" of color provided by the Pineapple Punch accents (like that great Pineapple Punch 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon). You can click on any of the images below to take you directly to my online store. Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (RETIRING) 148795 Pineapple Punch 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon 146953 To finish off this simple card, we stamped "Thanks For That Thing You Did" in Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White card stock. This sentiment is from the All Things Thanks Stamp Set that we featured as our Product of the Week a few weeks ago. We die-cut the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then layered it on top of a 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Night of Navy square and then a Pineapple Punch scallop square die-cut with the Layering Square Framelits. Finally, we added a couple of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to our sentiment. These fun, liitle dots are carrying over to our next Annual Catalog - yay!! All Things Thanks Stamp Set (RETIRING) 143089/143097 Stitched Shapes Framelits 145372 Layering Square Framelits 141708 Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots 148805 And..... here's another great example of a simple way to use your Designer Series Paper on a card.... For this card, we started with a Call Me Clover card base, then added two pieces of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our card. Again, as of this blog post, this DSP is still available to order (but it will retire on June 3). We also added a strip of the Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon to the card and adhered it at the front of the card behind the sentiment. Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper 146902 Crumb Cake 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon This time, we stamped "Happy Birthday" from the Better Together Stamp Set in Call Me Clover ink. This stamp set is also retiring, so order it will you still can. It has some very versatile sentiments - and.... I love that there is an "outside" sentiment, as well as an "inside" sentiment, for many of these greetings :). We die-cut this oval, along with the Call Me Clover Scallop Oval behind it, using the Layering Oval Framelits. And, again... for that final, finishing touch, we added a couple of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to our sentiment. So cute and simple!! As you can see...... just by adding some DSP and a sentiment, you can make a quick, simple cards, too!! Better Together Stamp Set (RETIRING) 141733/141736 Layering Oval Framelits 141706 We made both of these cards at our Simple, Beautiful Card Class this month. If you'd like to make fun cards like this with us, join us for the next..... Simple, Beautiful Card Class Simple, Beautiful Card Class Details can be found here. RSVPs are due by Tuesday, June 11 And.... make sure to shop from the Last Chance Lists while you still can!! You can see all of the Last Chance Products still available here. Stamp Sets are guaranteed to be available until May 24; all other items are only available while supplies last. Oooooohhhhh, there's one more thing..... don't forget... the Deal of the Week ends today..... Use the host code from Facebook Live when you order online to get the projects I demonstrate each week & for the chance to win free products!! May Host Code UMM7H63Q I hope you were Inkspired today!
