Today I am sharing my Christmas Card for 2021. I used the Christmas Season Bundle to create this card. The bundle includes the Christmas Season Stamp Set and Seasonal Labels Dies. I made this card a larger in size since I like to include a family photo (5" x 7"). Card Details: Smoky Slate Cardstock card base: 10" x 7", scored at 5" Pool Party Cardstock: 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" White Cardstock layer: 6" x 4 1/4", stamped first and then embossed with Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
Hi everyone, I'm back today with yet another Christmas card - this time using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set - or at least one stamp from that set. I made this version of the card several weeks ago. I used one of the papers from the Brightly Gleaming pack. Sadly this pack has been such a big hit that it is now no longer available. So in the video I made this version, using instead one of the Noble Peacock foiled papers. Here are the measurements you'll need: METRIC Card blank - 21cm x 14.8cm (half an A4 sheet), score at 10.5cm Very Vanilla panel - 14.5cm x 10cm DSP panel - 14cm x 9.5cm IMPERIAL Card blank - 8 1/4 ins x 6 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins Very Vanilla panel - 5 3/4" x 3 7/8" DSP panel - 5 1/2" x 3 5/8" Here are some photos showing off the foiled paper better. Would you like to see how I made the card? Here is the video tutorial - just CLICK HERE or on the image below. As you'll see in the video I also decorated inside the card. Spent a cozy evening on YouTube Live crafting with the 'Wishes All Around' set and coordinating dies. I made two Christmas cards and a treat holder - simple, festive, and full of joy! If you missed the live presentation, you can catch the replay below. https://www.youtube.com/live/D49QEXR2azY?si=CUJPCZ1KV-2bCxrr First up in last night's crafting session: a beautiful wreath! Using real red cardstock, gold foil, and glitter paper, I created a festive masterpiece. The addition of red berries, holly leaves, and a real red bow brought it all together in holiday perfection. The second card stole the show with a row of cute

Hello fellow stampers, welcome to week 2 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. This week I have three cards to share with you using a new bundle, Merriest Trees, which will be available in the Sept to Dec Mini Catalogue from the 6th of September. The three cards use the same main image from the stamp set, but cut down to different sizes with the different size dies from the Merriest Trees Die set. For the first card the Christmas Tree is the full size of the stamp. It's stamped in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow and decorated with strings of tinsel cut from the gold sheet from the More Dazzle Specialty Paper. The background paper is from the A Walk in the Forest DSP, also from the Sept to Dec Mini Catalogue. The star on top of the tree has two layers, Gold Foil on the base and Gold from the More Dazzle Specialty Paper on the top. For the next card I stamped the whole tree in Lost Lagoon Ink then I cut it out with the next size smaller die to make a smaller tree. The greeting is stamped directly on to the tree in Pretty Peacock ink. The papers used for the background of this card are from the Winter Meadow DSP, from the Sept to Dec Mini Catalogue and Inked Botanicals DSP. I used a piece of Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon behind tree image. The sparkly star on top of the tree is from the silver sheet from the More Dazzle Specialty DSP. For the final card I stamped the tree image in Garden Green ink and then cut it out with the next smallest tree die. I used the tag die from the Merriest Trees Dies as a mat for the tree. I stamped two sets of the ornaments in Real Red ink and cut them out. Very conveniently three ornaments are on one stamp and also on the same die which means you can stamp and cut three ornaments at the same time. Originally I was planning to ink and emboss the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder but I diverted slightly. The first time I used my trusty Rubber Brayer to apply the ink to the folder before I embossed I got a really blotchy/spotty effect that I did not like, on the left below. I then used my Stampin' Scrub to clean the inside of the embossing folder, which removed any coating that was on the folder. When I reapplied the ink I got a nice even covering of ink that when I embossed on Soft Sea Foam cardstock I got the lovely clear solid image, in the center below. I was going to try again on Basic White card stock but changed my mind after I had placed the paper in the folder and gently closed it. When I opened the folder i saw the funky, grungy look, on the right above. I ended up using this as the card front for my third card. Most of the items used to make these cards will be available from the 6th of September. Please contact me if you do not already have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the Sept-Dec Catalogue or if you have any questions. Now it's time for more Christmas inspiration from my fellow team member and host of the hop Sharon Davern. Please head to Sharon's blog if you have any issues with the links in our hop as she has a complete list of tonight's participants. Thanks for visiting, Rachel

My preorder for the September - December Mini Catalogue arrived a couple of days ago. Today was play day! First equal out of the box was the Joy of Noel bundle. This is a lovely, traditional Christmas bundle that is part of a two-set mega suite. Today, I only used the bundle and used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration. If I'm going for a traditional Christmas look, then for me it's most likely red, green, white and gold - just what happened today! I used one of the new embossing folders, Distressed Tile, for the card front because I love it! I also embossed the gold foil with the same folder. Isn't that leafy background stamp gorgeous too? I stamped off Old Olive for that and used Stampin' Blends to colour the Christmas spray. I can feel a whole lot of projects coming with this one! You can view what else I got in my pre-order here. These new mini catalogue products will be ready for you to purchase from 6 September. If you live in New Zealand, you can shop with me from anywhere in the country. A little secret.... this bundle will featured in the next tutorial package from me and Joanne James, aka The Crafty Owl. Buy it from either of us any time from catalogue and we'll send you the tutorials by email, and give you entry to our exclusive Facebook Group, as soon as they're available.
Hi everyone, sharing a Christmas Card I made for a recent stamp camp. This card uses the Countryside Corners stamp set and the Countryside Corners Dies along with the products from the Joy of Christmas Suite. The card base is from the Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes. To make this card colour the image from the Countryside Corners stamp set using a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and then stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. Die cut this piece and also the Real Red mat. Stamp 'Merry Christmas' on the bottom portion of the Basic White piece using Black Memento ink. Layer the two pieces together and adhered to the card front using Dimensionals. Stamp the large leaf, berry and foliage image from the Joy of Noel stamp set using Black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. Colour using Real Red, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends. Die cut this piece and adhere to the top left corner of the centre die panel on the card front. Die cut the foliage pieces using Old Olive cardstock and adhere these on top of the coloured, leaf, berry and foliage piece. Add a Wooden Element and a piece of Real Red ribbon to finish. I hope you enjoyed this project. If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. You can place an order online or Contact Me and place an order. SHOP WITH ME! Today's card features Stampin' Up Joy Of Noel, Christmas Classic, Joy To You and Joy Of Christmas DSP. I created this stunning Double Easel card. Here's a video tutorial: I started with a Shaded Spruce card base folded in tent fashion. I scored a piece of Cherry Cobbler cut 4" x 9 3/4" at 2 1/4" and 4 1/2". I folded the Cherry Cobbler with a mountain then a valley. I adhered the red checked patterned paper from Stampin' Up Joy Of Christmas DSP to a Shaded Spruce mat before adhering the layers to Cherry Cobbler. I adhered the holly patterned paper to a Shaded Spruce mat before adhering the layers to the front of the Cherry Cobbler. I carefully adhered the Cherry Cobbler piece to the Shaded Spruce base. I stamped holly leaves from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set using Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Basic White card stock two times. I colored the images with Old Olive Stampin' Blends. I die cut the stamped images, a piece of Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Basic White cardstock with Stampin' up Christmas Classic Dies. I die cut a piece of Mossy Meadow with Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Dies. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set using Cherry Cobbler ink on the Basic White die cut. I adhered the large Shaded Spruce die cut to the card base with Stampin' Up Tear Tape. I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the pine bough to the card front with liquid adhesive. I adhered the holly stamped images to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I embellished the holly leaves with Stampin' Up Festive Pearls. The inside is a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Joy To You Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler ink. I stamped pine boughs from Stampin' Up Christmas Classics Stamp Set with Shaded Spruce ink. I adhered the Basic White to the inside of the card base. Hello friends! Hope you're doing well today. I figured it was time to abandon my Autumn Leaves series of posts for a while. After the back-ordered items came in and promptly sold out again, it was time to focus on a different bundle. So, today we'll start a new series of cards using the Stars At Night Bundle found on page 17 of the new September - December Mini Catalog as the main item. It's really a lovely stamp set with a coordinating Hybrid Embossing Folder and Die set. I think there's going to be many creative possibilities with this bundle, and I can't wait to try them. Here's the first one I've made, and I love it. It's a fairly simple Christmas card to make, but quite elegant. My friend Ruth shared a photo of a similar card but gave me no instructions or details. Thanks for the idea, Ruth. This is my version of her card. I started with a card base of Basic White Thick cardstock that measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". It's scored in half and folded. Next a layer of Night of Navy cardstock was cut at 5 1/4" x 4" and a layer of Vellum was cut at 3 3/4" x 5". The Vellum layer was embossed using only the Stars at Night Embossing Folder, not the dies at this time. Doesn't the embossed vellum have absolutely beautiful detail? To attach it to the Night of Navy cardstock layer, I put a strip of adhesive behind the area where the More Dazzle would be placed. Then I used rolled up Mini Glue Dots behind the larger stars to hold in place. Here's another look at the detail on the embossed Vellum. Next a strip of the silver More Dazzle Specialty Paper was cut to measure 1" x 3 3/4". This was attached to the card front with Seal Adhesive across the back of the specialty paper to hold in place. Two of the stars were die-cut from this paper also. I'm not sure you can see the smaller star on top of the long skinny star. The larger star was attached with Mini Glue Dots, but the small star has a Mini Dimensional behind it to define it better. The sentiment from the Stars At Night set was stamped with Night of Navy ink onto a Basic White piece that measures about 1 1/2" x 2". It's die-cut using the coordinating die. Don't you love the interesting shape of this piece? This is added over the More Dazzle strip using Dimensionals. The last step was adding the Rhinestone Basic Jewels. For this card, I thought the crystal clear gems were the best accent. Two of the larger gems were added to the larger stars, and three of the smaller stars have the small rhinestones added. With adding the rhinestones directly over the Mini Glue Dots holding the Vellum layer, they are completely hidden. You could use different rhinestones or sequins if you prefer of course. You've now seen the first installment of the Stars At Night series. Hope you like this card and will come back for more inspiration using this set. Thank you for stopping in. Happy stamping and creating, Sharon
