Hey hey, friends! Today's post is all about TWO of my favorite subjects: BOOKS & SUMMER!! I know it's only mid-April but thankfully all the authors I love so much start releasing their new novels around this time every year which always gets me in the mood for warm weather, sunshine, vacations, beach time, and lounging in the shade with a good book. For me, I'm an audiobook girl 99% of the time because I love to multitask when I'm doing things I find tedious or, let's face it, kind of annoying...like when I'm doing endless amounts of laundry, driving around town running errands, doing dishes, brushing my teeth, doing my makeup/hair...you get the idea. I just love the way a good narrator can bring a story to life and make even the mundane chores something I actually look forward to because I know I'll have my book. I know audiobooks aren't for everyone though and I get it. It can be hard to focus sometimes. After being an avid listener for over a decade, I've trained my brain pretty well on this though. However, when the weather warms up and the sun shines well into the evening, I love nothing more than to sit poolside or cozied up in my sunroom with my Kindle and just read. I know there are a ton of you out there who love a good summer read. Whether you are someone who reads 50 books a year or you are someone who just wants a few options to throw in your pool bag this summer or take on vacation in case you get bored enough to crack up open a book, I have got you covered, friends! I compiled a list of upcoming new releases by some of my favorite authors in women's fiction. There are books in both the "chick lit" and "psychological thriller" categories which are my two favorites! I've got them broken down by the month they are set to be released and will link each one under the picture so you can click over and check it out, add it to your cart for pre-order so you don't forget, add it to your Goodreads account or just pin the pic so you'll have it to refer back to! So without further ado, here are the books I've picked for my summer reading! APRIL 1. Life's Too Short by Abby Jimenez (Book #3 in The Friend Zone series). OUT NOW. *Note: I've already listened to this one and it was a home run!!! LOVED it! 2. Lost in Paris by Elizabeth Thompson. Released today! 3. The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth. Released today! 4. Under the Southern Sky by Kristy Woodson Harvey. Release Date: April 20th 5. Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne. Released today! 6. Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle. Released April 6th--available now! UPDATE: Lost in Paris--not worth it. Skip it. The audio version is not good so maybe it's better if you read it? But 99% of the narrators in the books I listen to are amazing. But this one wasn't great only because she had to switch to speaking English with a French and Scottish accent frequently and it was TERRIBLE. Super distracting. But even if you read it, I don't think you'll love it. The Good Sister--two thumbs up! MAY 1. The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews. Release date: May 4th 2. Family Reunion by Nancy Thayer. Release date: May 4th 3. People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry. Release date: May 11th 4. The Summer Job by Lizzy Dent. Release date: May 18th *I put the wrong book cover in my collage in case you are wondering. I guess they went with a different one than what I found originally. 5. That Summer by Jennifer Weiner. Release date: May 11th 6. The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren. Release date: May 18th 7. Lost Property by Helen Paris. Release date: May 13th *Can't find this one on Amazon yet so I linked to Goodreads. 8. The Summer of Lost and Found by Mary Alice Monroe. Release date: May 11th JUNE 1. When Stars Collide by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. (Part of the Chicago Stars series. LOVE this series.) Release date: June 29th. 2. Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. Release date: June 1st 3. Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Release date: June 1st 4. The Road Trip by Beth O'Leary. Release date: June 1st 5. One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. Release date: June 1st 6. Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins. Release date: June 8th JULY 1. Stranger in the Mirror by Liv Constantine. Release date: July 6th 2. The Therapist by B.A. Paris. Release date: July 13th What is on your "definitely reading this one" list for the summer? Let me know, especially if I missed one that you're looking forward to and I completely skipped! There is a HUGE new collagen flash sale that starts tonight at 7pm central and will run until the 15th. I'm talking $20 off Trim collections (the fat-blasting collagen!) PLUS a FREE BOX OF GO valued at $45!! (Go is our energy and focus drink mix that comes in 3 flavors and you'll get a variety pack so you can try them all--FOR FREE!) Friendly tip? Don't order until the sale starts! But DO NOT WAIT until the last day! The free Go is available "while supplies last" and it will not last the whole time. If you have been contemplating the Lean Body System or Trim because you know you need a little help getting summer ready, I would love to talk to you and get you hooked up with this promo! There is no better time to do it, friends. I feel fairly confident saying you won't see another promo on the Trim/Lean Body System like this until probably November for Black Friday. (I could be wrong so don't hold me to that but from what I know, this is the biggest it's going to get for a while!) We also have insane bundles that can save you over $100 on all the products you've been wanting to try. I'm going to try to create a separate post today that talks about all this for those of you who are interested but if you want to make sure you get in first, I'm just one DM away on Instagram, y'all! Find me @amandanall or on FB at Amanda Crain Nall. Also, if you have a smartship that is set to run this month with a Trim collection, MESSAGE ME about that too! I'm here and my thumbs are ready to type so don't hesitate. :) If you want a reminder of what the Lean Body System can do, here's my friend Haley. I've probably shown you her results before but watching her transformation is what got me started in the first place and I thought it might do the same for you. Plus I like posting pictures of people I know in real life and trust when they tell me what they did and didn't do to get these results. She did not work out during all this. She just lived her life as a teacher and busy mama to a 13yo, 10yo and sweet foster baby which definitely keeps her active! It took a lot for her to post these but I'm so glad she did! Her before and after show exactly what these products. Help inhibit fat storage and increase lean muscle. Can you eat like a linebacker and still look this good? No. But you don't have to starve yourself either. Just eat normal, move around a little and let the supplements SUPPLEMENT your lifestyle! Give it a fair shot and you may just be surprised. ;) UPDATE: CLICK HERE TO READ ALL THE DEETS ABOUT THE PROMO!! I figured one solid post about it would be easier than 300 DMs. ;) Ok, I'm off to work on Etsy orders that need to go out today (including a cute new sign for a daycare center!) and get some new Amazon finds posted in the Deals Group! A BEST OF SUMMER READ ACCORDING TO NEWSWEEK, PARADE MAGAZINE, NBC NEWS, LITHUB, AND POPSUGAR "The most heartfelt read of the summer...a surprising delight of a novel."--Shondaland An unforgettable and heartwarming debut about how a chance encounter with a list of library books helps forge an unlikely friendship between two very different people in a London suburb. Widower Mukesh lives a quiet life in Wembley, in West London after losing his beloved wife. He shops every Wednesday, goes to Temple, and worries about his granddaughter, Priya, who hides in her room reading while he spends his evenings watching nature documentaries. Aleisha is a bright but anxious teenager working at the local library for the summer when she discovers a crumpled-up piece of paper in the back of To Kill a Mockingbird. It's a list of novels that she's never heard of before. Intrigued, and a little bored with her slow job at the checkout desk, she impulsively decides to read every book on the list, one after the other. As each story gives up its magic, the books transport Aleisha from the painful realities she's facing at home. When Mukesh arrives at the library, desperate to forge a connection with his bookworm granddaughter, Aleisha passes along the reading list...hoping that it will be a lifeline for him too. Slowly, the shared books create a connection between two lonely souls, as fiction helps them escape their grief and everyday troubles and find joy again.

A big, tantalizing read!"—Susan Elizabeth Phillips, New York Times bestselling author A summer of healing, friendship, love…and a secret that could change everything. A leisurely beachfront summer promises the trio of women the opportunity to take deep healing breaths and explore new paths. But when her father’s will reveals an earth-shattering secret that tarnishes his impeccable reputation and everything she thought she knew about her family, Marlow finds herself questioning her entire childhood—and aspects of her future. The Big Dreams Beach Hotel by Lilly Bartlett follows Rosie, a hotel manager in her seaside hometown. Once a girl with big dreams, Rosie is still trying to recover from both a personal and professional setback from three years prior. While working at a hotel in New York, Rosie fell for a client and ended up getting burned - badly - and fleeing back to the UK, living at her parents’ house. The hotel she is managing now has seen better days, but comes with a colorful cast of characters and Rosie is happy … enough. But everything gets a shake-up when the owner sells the hotel to American buyers, and they bring in Rory, the transition manager, to help convert the British hotel to something more Americanized. When Rosie finds herself falling for the charming Rory, she fears it’s history repeating itself from her time in New York. I had a lot of fun reading The Big Dreams Beach Hotel. I enjoyed that we got peeks into Rosie’s time in New York, and have to say my eyebrows went pretty high once I read how the situation between her and the hotel client ended up. The story line with the American owners and their vision for the quaint hotel was pretty funny, and of course the romance angle was a big part of the story and quite sweet. The secondary characters really added a lot of charm to this story, and overall I thought this chick lit novel was very well written and well paced. I would definitely recommend The Big Dreams Beach Hotel to readers in the mood for a fun and humorous read.
