I'm here with the most classic of all classic Super Bowl Gambling games you can play at your Super Bowl party. It is so very simple, and I think i've even managed to make something seemingly un-girly, girly! Hey, it's kinda my thing! To download FREE 8.5x11 PRINTABLE click here To Download Instructions (if you need them printed) click here ------ So if these instructions are a bit confusing, and you are more of a hands on learner, like me here is an example: Let's say I'm having a party and I ask my party guests if they would like to buy squares. The squares cost just $1 a piece. Here are what my party guests buy... Oscar the Grouch (OTG) - Asks for 10 squares - puts in $10 Miley Cyrus (MC) - Asks for 5 squares - puts in $5 (cheap ass) Peter Griffin (PG)-Asks for 10 squares and a Pawtucket Patriot- puts in $10 but no money for the beer General Neyland (GN) asks for 5 squares - but just gives me a high 5. So, I go ahead and cover his $5 You know I wouldn't skip a gambling opportunity. I buy 10 squares - $10 (SRW) Terrell Owens - (TO) tries to buy just 5 squares, I tell him if he buys more I'll be his Facebook friend, so he buys 20 - $20 (He ended up having to take out a loan for the $20) Buggs Bunny (BB) comes in and scoops up the rest ($40) With $100 in the pot. We will have 4 winners, each winner gets $25! Our board now looks like this... So our next step is to randomly list our numbers across the top and down the side. So then we sit down and start drinking cheese dip and funneling beers while watching the game. The first quarter ends, and the score is Seattle 7 - Denver 10. Find 7 on Seattle's side, and 0 on Denver's side, then you find your winner! And Buggs is your first quarter winner! Yay Buggs, get it! Any questions??! I'm here to help! *Warning* Always play with ice cold (Miller light) beer! And of course drink responsibly and junk. ---- Oh, and on another very important note, I wanted to help out my blogging friend Marty. Her friend's 4 year old daughter Sophia has been in the hospital since the end of November getting treated for tumors in her brain and spine. A lot of sports fans who know her family came together and donated some autographed/limited edition sports items from our personal collections and started a fundraiser on Ebay, where many of the items start to end in about 3 days. Some of the smaller items are photos, balls, videos, but some get super crazy like Brian Chashman's [Yankees GM] suite at the stadium with meet and greet! Go check it out and help Sophia!

We’ve all been in one of those Super Bowl Squares pools. You know, the kind – where you put a buck in the pot and are assigned a square on a 10×10 grid. Each square corresponds to a pair of numbers, one for the NFC team and one for the AFC team. The score at …

The Barn Owl is an English Paper Pieced (EPP) project. One of the many owls that dwell in the desert and perch atop spiny cacti. Though, this owl prefers to pose in front of a fancy jewel shaped backdrop. This owl was constructed with the Palm Canyon Fat Eighth coordinate bundle, which is a mix of Kona Cotton solids and Manchester (Yarn Dyed Cotton). The Barn Owl EPP project finishes at 20 inches square.

The small Fancy Forest pattern calls for two owls, but I am only doing one for now. I LOVE this yellow one but can’t decide on a color scheme for the second one. So, it can wait until later…

As soon as I saw this picture on instagram, I just had to make one! Plus I am totally obsessed with all-things-owls so it wasn't hard to purchase this pattern from @Homespunhandmaiden for only $1.99! Try making one yourself. It's sew much fun and very easy to put together too. I couldn't wait to get started! So I picked out some left over tiger lily fabric from a recent quilt. It is brown with green, yellow and orange flowers. It reminds me of Fall! I have a 12 x 12 pillow form and decided it would look great as a mini pillow for my living room. I cut all the squares and rectangles out, which only took me an hour...I hate cutting fabric! This would be a lot easier if you could use scraps. These alphabities are a must! If you don't have any, you should make some or use paper and pencil. It makes the steps go by faster and helps stay organized. Before I purchased alphabities this is what I used... Super simple! Right? Back to the sewing machine! I started to make the eyes, body, ears, beak...and continued until the block was complete! The reason there are two owls is because the pattern was wrong, but after seeing the two together they are pretty cute!! I was able to quilt, and use the larger owl for the 12 x 12 pillow form. I absolutely love how it turned out. Whoooo wants it? Thanks and Have a nice Monday! -Laura

In this email you will have a unique URL link to click on which will lead you back to our website and the following screen: Click on the words "Download Now" so that a little window pops up for you to select whether you want to open it as a PDF or save it to your computer. Be patient with your first attempt - the file is large, so it may take a few moments to load the PDF depending on your ISP connection speed. Once the window pops up you can select either option of whether to "Open" or "Save". If saving it, just be sure to make a note of where you are saving it on your computer so you can retrieve it later. If you click on your download link and a web browser appears but only presents you with a white screen or downloading doesn't appear to take place, most likely there is an incompatibility between the web browser you are using, your system software, and the way our website serves files. First try switching to a different web browser. (For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, try starting the download with Firefox instead. We have found that Firefox works very well!)However, if switching browsers does not work for you, try downloading it from your laptop or desktop computer rather than an iPad or mobile device. This usually solves the issue as the iPad tends to hide downloaded files in odd places and requires a reader app to open it (Adobe Reader App or Kindle App are free). If all else fails, you can forward your email link to a friend or local copy center business to have them download and print it for you. If you do not have a registered account, then please know that it is your responsibility to promptly download and save the file you purchased to your computer. Once you have downloaded and saved your item, safeguarding it is up to you. Be sure to back up your files, because it is not a matter of "if", but "when" your files will be lost. Carbonite, Backblaze or other backup file system is highly recommended. You set it up and never have to worry again.
