Oh my....... here is a pretty sneak peek using some NEW Annual Catalog products. These products will be available to purchase on 5/1/24. You can add them to your wish list! I used- *Spotlight On Nature stamp set *Shy Shamrock card stock *Shy Shamrock ink pad *Petunia Pop card stock *Petunia Pop card stock *2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (Petunia Pop) When I went to Houston a couple of weeks ago for a Stampin' Up demonstrator event, I attended an evening class & made this card there. It is so fun to create using NEW products! I colored the butterfly purple using #151298- Water Painters. I lightly squeezed my ink pad while shut so that I could get some link onto the inside of the lid. I then picked up that ink with the Water Painters & added to the butterfly so that it was a solid (colored in) image. Here are the supplies & measurements. stamp set: 'Spotlight On Nature' card stock: Shy Shamrock- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" & fold in half for card base Shy Shamrock- 1/2 x 5 1/2" Petunia Pop- 3 1/2 x 5" Petunia Pop- 7/8 x 2 1/4" Basic White- 3 1/4 x 4 3/4"- stamp leaves onto Basic White- 5/8 x 2"- stamp words onto Basic White- 2" strip- stamp butterfly & fussy cut out with scissors Basic White- 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card inks: Shy Shamrock & Petunia Pop other: Petunia Pop Ribbon; 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems; dimensionals; glue dots I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday! Happy Stamping! Hugs- SUSIE
WOW- what a fun girl card!!! This whole 'Dressed to Impress' SUITE is just adorable!!! This is a card that I created for my team meeting in December. And I totally forgot to post it. Look at the shoes! I colored them with some Blackberry Bliss ink refill & my Wink of Stella. They are nice & sparkly! How did I do that? I just put a couple drops of Blackberry Bliss ink refill onto a Clear block & then picked up the ink with the Wink of Stella & colored the shoes! Check out how I colored the White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon! I added the little dotted images in this stamp set, along with my Blackberry Bliss ink pad! It was so easy & so fun to do! Look at how I stamped the one shoe image, to make a reverse image. I used my Stamparatus & the Silicone Craft Sheet to transfer the shoe! This way I had a shoe for the right foot & one for the left foot too! stamp set: 'Dressed to Impress' card stock: Blackberry Bliss- 5 1/2 x 8 1/2"- score at 4 1/4" for card base; 4 x 1/4", 4 x 1/4"; 2 3/4" strip- punch out Starburst punch Whisper White- 2 3/4" strip- stamp words onto & punch out using the 2" Circle Punch; 4 x 2"- emboss using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder; 4 x 5 1/4"- for inside of card; 4 x 2"- stamp 2 shoes onto & die cut out Crumb Cake- 2 x 1/2"; 1 3/4 x 1 1/4"- to make shoe box designer paper: Best Dressed DSP- 4 x 1"; 4 x 1" ink: Basic Gray- stamp shoes; Blackberry Bliss- stamp words ink refill: Blackberry Bliss- add few drops onto clear block & pick up ink, using the Wink of Stella to color the shoes with other: Stamparatus, Silicone Craft Sheet, White Crinkled Ribbon- 7", Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, All Dressed Up Dies, Standard Platform, Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, 2" Circle Punch, Starburst Punch, Clear Block, Glue Dots, Dimensionals I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!! This week, is week 20 in the Colour Creations blog hop and this week we continue our journey through the existing Stampin' Up! core colours, working in alphabetical order. This week our feature colour is Crushed Curry, a member of the Regals family of colours. Crushed Curry is not a colour I would tend to use very much but when I do I am pleasantly surprised. For my creation this week I have used the Stampin' Up! Monthly Challenge as the inspiration as this month it's a sketch challenge and one that appealed to me. I have also chosen to feature the beautiful Inked Botanicals Paper as one of the feature colours is Crushed Curry. The paper along with the stamp set, Inked and Tiled , is part of the Inked Botanicals Suite of products. Four different papers have been cut and then mounted onto Lost Lagoon card in bow of Linen Thread.the layout as per the sketch above. These have then all been mounted onto a piece of Very Vanilla card and then onto a Crushed Curry card base. The flower and leaf stems have been cut from Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon card using several of the dies from Meadow dies. They have also been sponged with their corresponding coliurs using sponge daubers. All tied together using a bow of Linen Thread. The sentiment is also from Inked and Tiled and has been stamped in Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla card and then cut using one of the Something Fancy dies. Finally a few Brushed Brass Butterflies have been added. For the inside of the card I have stamped one of the Inked and Tiled images in Calypso Coral on Very Vanilla and added a strip of a different piece of the Inked Botanicals paper. Next in tonight's blog hop is the lovely Cathy Proctor. I look forward to seeing this week's beautiful creation. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants. As always if you live in Australia and would like to know more about Stampin' Up! or would like to purchase some of the products then click on the Facebook tab at the top of the page and send me a message. As always enjoy your week.Theresa
Good morning! Here is a fun card that I made last night. I think that this Sale-a-bration stamp set 'See Ya Later' is so much fun! A dear demonstrator friend that is a side line & on my Iowa Inkers downline Face Book private group, posted a photo of a card she created using this stamp set & these colors. So I played & came up with this fun card! I told Kimberly when she posted her card that I loved it! That it was my colors! So thanks Kimberly for inspiring me in creating this card. 'See Ya Later' (SAB) cs: Basic Gray, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit marker: Summer Starfruit dp: Sweet Sorbet Designer Paper (SAB) ink: Basic Gray supplies: Big Shot, On Film framelits, Starburst framelits, Sweet Sorbet Accessories (Summer Starfruit Twine), sponge, Cupcake Builder Punch, dimensionals, glue dot What a chilly & windy day it was yesterday. Sure wasn't nice enough to go out & play- that is forsure. We got our piggies sold & Deke make it to his night meeting in time. I spent the night stamping & working on my upcoming 'All Occasions' card class. WOW- I have some cool cards planned to share with everyone joining me for this upcoming fun annual event. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to the Seeley family. Steve's great-grandma Cox from Albia passed away last night. Deke is in the office this morning. Then home to finish getting things ready for our baby piggies that will be arriving tomorrow morning. The boys are already excited that they get to go out to help Papa farm. And we have a sick little boy (Drake) today too..... he has a fever, not eating & just doesn't feel good. So I'll be taking him to the Dr. I have 8 boxes of stamps that my UPS man Chase has brought in the past 2 days & he is suppose to bring more today. It is always so much fun looking at all of the Stampin' Up! products that everyone has ordered. It is kind of like Christmas- seeing everyone else gifts! So I am going to be a busy bee sorting them all tonight. I hope you have a WONDERFUL Wednesday! Happy Stamping! Hugs! SUSIE
