Amazing antique staffordshire child's dinner service toy set, rare, circa 1880-1900 this is the most exquisite and beautiful mini staffordshire pottery toy's child dinner service set with blue transfer printed pattern. this beautiful set would have been for the young child to practise the etiquettes of fine dining.(or they were miniature models for shops that used to sell tableware, so that the customers can see the models. Say a sample folder but in tableware) it really is outstandingly beautiful and such a rare find. unmarked pieces. good condition for its age. The pieces have wear and light brown spots. Some of the pieces have some crackle. The inside lid of the tureen has an old chip. The foot of the salade bowl has a mini spot and the small butter jar has a brown flaw on the bottom. If you are interested, ask me for the close-up photos, all of this is very minimal. Some plates also have a minimal millimeter size difference.
