I got an eyeful today when I got a little too close! I'd never seen a brownie tail so fanned out before. (I think he saw his reflection in my lens, but then another brownie came over too, so it's hard to say what caused his initial reaction. Poor thing probably felt tagteamed!) *I was honored to have this photo featured in the August 2009 issue of Birder's World: www.birdersworld.com/brd/default.aspx?c=a&id=1624.
