Hello there! One of my very favorite new collections that you will see in the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog starting May 3: The Tea Boutique Suite. The Suite Collection includes a Bundle (stamp set + dies), some 6" x 6" Designer Series Papers and a package of card bases & envelopes (Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes). Summary of new products used on this card: Tea Boutique DSP Cup of Tea Bundle (stamps + dies) Sweet Sorbet Ink and Card Stock (new 2022-2024 In Color) The tea cup is die cut from a selection of the DSP. I stamped the leaves (Pear Pizazz ink) and floral images (Sweet Sorbet ink) onto Basic White Card Stock, then used a die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut it all out. NOTE: The Stitched So Sweetly Dies are on the Last Chance List - they will no long be available after May 2. I'm sad to see this set retire - it's one of my favorite sets of dies. Shop the Last Chance items HERE. The gingham DSP is also from the Tea Boutique DSP pack. I layered it onto Sweet Sorbet CS, then adhered it to the Basic White card base. The sentiment, HELLO, is from Forever Fern stamp set, stamped with Sweet Sorbet onto the image piece. I added a couple embellishments - the Brushed Brass Butterflies. ********************************************************************** Here are more tea cups! This card also uses the Cup of Tea Bundle (stamps + dies). But the DSP on this card, also a NEW product, is called Hues of Happiness 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. It is full of gorgeous roses in a rainbow of colors! The DSP is also in a Suite Collection call Hues of Happiness. The collection includes, in addition to the DSP, a stamp+die Bundle called Happiness Abounds, and Glossy Dots Assortment embellishments. I adhered a selection of the DSP to a Melon Mambo CS card base. Using the Tea Cups Dies: I die-cut two tea cups from 2 selection of Cut of Tea DSP which I adhered, using Stampin' Dimensionals, to a doily (Heart & Home Doilies, from the January-June Mini Catalog). I die cut the mini label and used Mini Glue Dots to add the twine & also to adhere to the tea cup. The sentiment is in Pansy Patch stamp set. I die cut it with a long label die from the NEW die set: Sending Smiles. I add a couple of the Glossy Dots Assortment embellishments to the label. *************************************************************** COMING MAY 3 - NEW 2022-2023 ANNUAL CATALOG!! I bought the Tea Boutique cards and envelopes at the beginning of the catalog last year and I never used them! I figure I better use them before the new catalog comes out. They are $10 for 20 cards and envelopes. This is a fantastic deal, but it gets even better. On 4/4 it will be 60% off, just $4 for 20 cards and envelopes! I love the print on the cards and envelopes. Hiya friends! I've been away from the blog for a bit as things pick up with volleyball season and end-of-the-school year activities. I am happy to be back, though, and playing hostess with my gal pals at The Paper Players for a Tea Party Theme Challenge. This theme is near and dear to my heart. Every year, our daughter's school hosts "Mother's Day Tea" where the kids put on a talent show and serve their mothers a lovely luncheon. It's the highlight of the school year and I've attended every year since first grade! Our daughter graduates from 8th grade this month so in honor of our last Mother's Day Tea, I'm inviting everyone to play along with our Tea Party! All the women in my family, myself included, are tea drinkers so I definitely kept the retired SU set A Nice Cuppa! With the coordinating framelits, it makes for a quick and easy tea inspired card. I also pulled out some beloved [retired] DSP, Birthday Bouquet, and took my color palette from there...Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride, and Pool Party. A very simple layout really but I had fun layering on the elements with the mini doilies, glimmer Pool Party ribbon and silver accents. On the inside, I masked the teacup stamp so I could stack them on top of each other. With the mask, I also added some outline flowers in the background--these are stamped in Pool Party from the retiring Birthday Blooms set. Boy, am I sad to see that one go! That's it for me...I hope you have a lovely Sunday planned. Be sure to stop by The Paper Players and check out all the Tea Party lovelies from my teammates. Thanks for stopping by! The cue word for CASology Week #364 is TEA. Are you a fan of tea? I am! A HUGE fan. Mostly hoji-cha with a roasted flavor and matcha (green tea). And it doesn't have to be in drinkable form, either. 😉 Here's my card. I adhered Altenew's Painted Fantasy washi tape to white card stock and die cut MFT's tea cups in opposite directions. The cups were stacked and adhered to a white card base and the sentiment was stamped beneath them. I finished off the card with a strip of pale gray patterned paper. Thanks so much for stopping by! Think I'll make myself a cuppa.

This week's Live demo was so much fun! I am just in love with Stampin' Up!®'s 2022-2024 In Colors. They are each lovely and bold and fun in their own way and don't they just look awesome all together too?! I wanted to create a card that would highlight each In Color and some of the coordinating products. These 3x3 cards each use the In Color cardstock, ink pads, baker's twine, matte decorative dots and the designer series paper is from the Tea Boutique Suite. For each card, I used the Cup of Tea

Hi everyone, Happy Sunday! Yesterday, Gez and I did our monthly live session over on our Facebook group - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez. If you'd like to join us live next month please do join our group - CLICK HERE. Normally we try to do our live crafting on the first Saturday of the month, but recently our social lives/holidays seem to have gotten in the way! Our theme for this month was to use our favourite products that will be retiring at the beginning of May as the Annual Catalogue and the spring Mini catalogue both come to the end of their sales period. I used quite a lot of retiring products as you will see! Here are the cards I made on the live. This year we are having a colour refresh and as well as getting some fab new colours, we will be losing some of my all time favourites. For my cards today I used three of the colours I will miss most - Polished Pink, Pear Pizzazz and Bermuda Bay. As I am typing this, all three are still available in my online shop in cardstock and ink pads. The focus of my card is the Cup of Tea stamp set and matching Teacup dies. Again these are still available and even better, both are discounted. But don't hang around. Lots of retiring products have already sold out and products are only available while stocks last. Other retiring products I used are the Happiness Abounds stamp set (for the sentiments and still available at a reduced price), the Hive 3D embossing folder (sadly now SOLD OUT) and the Perfectly Penciled DSP (still available with a discount). I added a panel on top of the embossed panel inside the card, to allow room for a message to be written inside. I gave all the measurements and instructions (I think!) on the video so if you need to know any of these please take a look. To see my part of the Facebook Live video you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. And is the project that Gez made - a folded mini album: If you'd like to see Gez's video from the live session you can do so by CLICKING HERE. I do hope you'll join us next month.
