Natural Altar for Beltane
Beltane, like Ostara, is largely a fertility sabbat with fire and passion mixed in. Flowers, bonfires, and Maypoles are characteristic of Beltane celebrations as are Greenwood marriages. Beltane is the opposite of Samhain on the Wheel of the Year, being a celebration of life instead of death. However, like Samhain, this is also a liminal time when spirits and the fae are out and about making mischief and communicating with the living. I attempted to capture this imagery in this year's Beltane altar using freshly cut flowers from my yard, crystals, candles, and a gift the Earth graciously presented me with.

Add a touch of whimsy to your altar with our Blue Flower Altar Tarot Cloth. This charming floral design is perfect for Pagan and Wicca practitioners, adding an enchanting touch to your tarot readings. Made of high-quality fabric, it's an ideal decoration for any altar. Place this beautifully designed square cloth on a table, hearth, shelf, or other display point for your treasures. Serves equally well as a tarot cloth, large enough for all your oracle readings. The extra large cloth is perfect for a large table, for the floor for a seated meditation or ritual, or for a wall hanging. Cloth Details: Choose from two different types of fabric in small or extra-large sizes: 22” x 22" or 58 x 58" heavy cotton twill cloth is a thicker and more robust cotton fabric with hemmed edges that will wear well over time and is resistant to wear and stains. It is opaque and solid with a thick feel that will lay nice and flat. The twill fabric has a base color of antique white so that colors will be darker and softer. 24” x 24" or 51 x 60" light poly crepe cloth is a lightweight soft fabric that is flowy and drapey with hemmed edges. It is opaque but also slightly translucent letting some light through. High-quality made and will also last decades with proper care. The crepe fabric has a base color of pure white, so the colors will be a bit brighter and more vivid. Colors may vary slightly in person due to different monitor and device screen color settings. Hand Washing is best, but can also Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, mild detergent, and line dry. Do not bleach. Avoid ironing. A light hand steamer can be used if necessary. Ta-da! For the first time since I was in high school I have an altar. It has actually been quite the experience and I am very happy to have sacred space again, in a room where I can shut the world out. I am very happy to share my Spring Equinox/Ostara altar with everyone today. You may notice it is very simple. I don't like clutter so a simpler altar is perfect for me. I placed a statue I picked up from Goodwill several years ago to represent the Maiden or a young Mother Earth. Again, I don't believe in any deities, but I think a little personification of our Earth is great. I adore this statue of a young woman in a flowing dress dancing with her tambourine. She is the epitome of new life. I picked two cream colored candles in crystal holders to represent rebirth and the birth of the Sun. Cream and other pastel colors are commonly used this time of year and I felt the cream also matched my decor better than green or white. In between my candles is a milk glass vase full of silk flowers. I picked creamy pink flowers to represent renewal, rebirth, and new life. Plus I like the color pink, especially which this table. In front of the candle and vase of silk flowers are two speckled eggs. My mother actually made these eggs out of clay before I was born. I am so thankful to have them and use them on my altar to show new life. Eggs are one of the most famous icons of the Spring Equinox and Easter. It is around this time of year that many birds begin building nests and laying eggs which is why I also have a nest, bird, and marble egg on my altar. Again representing new life, renewal, rebirth, and fertility. On the far right is a new terrarium I bought for my altar that is currently filled with eggs as well. You really can't have too many eggs, I swear. There is a white rabbit representing fertility and new life. Rabbits, like the eggs, are famously used at this time of year as well. Rabbits are notorious for breeding rapidly, often producing several litters in a breeding season, hence the phrase "Breeding like rabbits." My favorite rabbit joke actually comes from Zootopia when Officer Judy Hops tells Nick Wilde her family is good at multiplication. Placed right in the middle are three beautiful crystals: amethyst, rose quartz, and clear quartz. These are for peace, love, and protection. Plus their beautiful pastel hues compliment the arrangement nicely. And there you have it! My 2017 Spring Equinox altar! Do you have an altar? How do you decorate it for Ostara? I would love to see what you have set up!

This is a service and NOT SHIPPED to you. By placing this order you are stating that you understand the following statement: "I understand that this service is to ONLY add my petition (prayer) to Papa Gee's working altars. I understand an individual candle is NOT being burned for me and that I will not receive a report or communication about this service." for BLOCKBUSTER and removing obstacles. knocking down and clearing out the things that stand in your way of achieving your dreams and goals. This can be attitudes, people, societal limitations, lack of opportunity, or other circumstances that hold you back. Be sure to include your petition or prayer in the space provided along with your name. You may include birthdates or zodiac signs for all involved, if you wish. All petitions received will be placed on my altars. HOW IT WORKS: This is a petition service - not an individual candle burned on your behalf. I maintain two main altars in our Chapel (and two smaller ones for private use) - one is for positive work like love attracting, money drawing, business, success, happy home life, healing, etc. The second altar is for negative work such as breakup work, reversing work, hexing, etc. I burn candles on each altar daily to keep the energy flowing. Your petition is added to the altar along with prayers from other clients. To me, this collective energy can add to the success of what people ask for - sort of like a community candle service. Petitions are kept for about 6 months then burned and the ashes spread around our Chapel. Please be aware that there is no communication between us, which is why the price is so affordable. To keep this at such a low price, it must be this way — no candle report will be mailed to you, nor will we communicate through email about your situation. I will not answer emails asking “how is my candle burning?” This is because an individual candle is NOT being burned for you. This is a service where you add your personalized petition to my working altars where I daily burn candles for positive and negative energies. thank you. Papa Gee Due to the nature of this being a spiritual service AND that I have fully explained how this works, there are NO REFUNDS. I NEVER state that what you ask for will come true. Do not expect guaranteed results from spiritual works. You are offering up a prayer, a petition. When you pray, it is never guaranteed you will receive what you asked for. The same is true of a spell. Do NOT come to me complaining because you did not READ what you were buying. Period. DISCLAIMER: I am required to state that my items are SOLD AS CURIOS ONLY and offered solely for entertainment purposes and I DO NOT guaranteed to provide any specific abilities or results. Making THIS purchase is an agreement that you understand this policy. What I DO guarantee is that the work will be performed for you to the best of my ability using all my knowledge and energy. Why can't I absolutely guarantee your end result? Because no one can -- a doctor cannot guarantee he can cure you; a lawyer cannot guarantee they will win your court case. But, a good doctor or lawyer will do their best work on your behalf. I can tell you that if you adjust your behavior, attitude, and choices to align with what you seek, together, we have a greater chance of achieving your goal. Due to the nature of this service, I do not offer refunds. ABOUT PAPA GEE – is a rootworker, potion master, spiritual healer, and card reader in Nashville, TN. Candle magick is an incredibly popular and effective form of spellwork. But as any experienced witch will attest, spell candles sometimes seem to have a mind of their own. A dancing, fluttering flame seems to be communicating something…but what is it trying to say? A bunch of traditions have sprung up around observing
