It is Day 2 of the Handiwork Collection Reveal's over at The Greetery! This amazing release will be live and available for purchase, tomorrow, Friday, July 28th at 10am EST. I have 3 new cards to share so keep scrolling to check them out. Don't forget to leave a comment here for your chance to win 1 of 2 $50 gift Certificates to The Greetery! Let me show you today's cards! This first card is my favorite! I love love this sewing machine!! I die cut and stamped and heat embossed all the details and then added to a little 3D shelf. I layered those onto a masked oval using the Hoopla Oval Die and Inserts to create the background. Then I layered on the machine and all those gorgeous details! Love these new sets so much!! This next card uses the Stitched Scallops Note Card Die. I love these die set! It would make a fun layer on a card or just as is....the perfect little note card! I masked a square on the card base and stamped the Embroidered Background Stamp. I used a sentiment from the Stitched Sentiments Stamp and Die Set. To finish off the card, I added in a little spool of thread and that adorable little needle. One last card to showcase the Rose Tapestry Stencil. This stencil covers a full A2 sized card and is just gorgeous! I cut it down to the oval to pair it with the Hoopla dies and then added in all the notions from the Notionable Die Set. THOSE SCISSORS!! They really move!! Come see me tomorrow over on The Greetery's Instagram for a full product review! See the FULL July Release by clicking HERE! It will be live Friday, July28th at 10am EDT. I am so glad you stopped in today!! Tomorrow is release day!! Hello and welcome, friends! I'm thrilled to be here today sharing a few projects for the new release from The Greetery called Nouveau Notes! You're going to love this fabulous new collection of products! As always, Betsy will be sharing all of the information about the specifics for each product, so make sure you head to The Greetery Blog for all of the details! Up first is a set of notecards and a stationery box using the new products! This release includes a fabulous new stamp set called Floral Delicacies and 2 beautiful new sentiment sets called Everyday Labels and Handmade Labels. They're the perfect thing to accent this set of 4 A2 sized cards that coordinate with the Stationery Box and envelopes! The Stationery Box is designed to fit a set of A2 sized cards. As you know, I'm a fan of dimensional cards, so my box can easily fit the 4 cards and envelopes shown for this project. You could definitely get 6 if they were less dimensional and more like a standard set of cards you'd find in a stationery shop or stationery aisle in the store. I also accented the box with the new Deco Frames dies. I just love all of the built-in detailing that it adds to the project! There will be a few new sets of envelopes offered in this release! I used the blush and white ones for this project and used the Handmade Labels to add the sentiment to the flap for added detail and cohesiveness! Can you see the pretty coordinating pens? Those will be included in this release as well and they are perfect to add with a set of cards! Let's talk about the new Deco Triangles Hot Foil Plate, shall we? I'm obsessed! I used Rose Gold foil to add the detail to the 4 cards for a professional look! I love how it turned out! I added a lot of glitter to the flowers for added sparkle, but kept each card quite simple, yet cohesive! I used each of the 4 sentiments from the Everyday Labels stamp set. My second project for today uses the Stationery Box again, but I trimmed it down to fit the fabulous new Deco Notes notecards! There are also square envelopes to fit these sweet little cards to tuck inside the box! I used the Hot Foil Plate again to accent the flap of the box and then added the gold embossed sentiment from the Handmade Labels stamp set. The Deco Notes die collection includes these fabulous corner details that you will love! I stamped the flaps of the small envelopes just like I did on the larger ones! I just love adding details like that! It really makes the entire project feel a little bit more professional! I had done quite a bit of stamping on the first set of cards, so I opted to use the Summer Findings Dies to accent this set of notecards! Having insect collections seems very reminiscent of the Art Nouveau period, so I thought it would be fun to add them to this collection! Once you die cut the two sides for the Stationery Box, it's very easy to trim it down to create the correct size for these small cards! I die cut the corners out of gold metallic paper for a luxe feel! It adds to the gold foiling and embossing so well! I wanted to show a picture of the inside of the flap because Betsy is offering these tiny magnets to use as closures for the Stationery Box! That being said, there is a really fun half-circle die that is included in the Stationery Box die set that allows you to create an open area in the front so you can easily get the cards in and out! Guess who forgot to use it on this box? Sorry! I did it on the first box and then didn't take a picture of that one! ha ha! Anyway, it is a fun detail and will allow the recipient or "owner" of the box to be able to get the cards out easily. I had such a great time putting these two card sets together! Everything will be available for purchase tomorrow at 10 am ET! Head to the other designers' blogs to see how they've used these new products! As promised, I'm back with more inspiration from the Confetti Encore Collection from The Greetery! There's so much to share today, but first, you'll want to head to The Greetery Blog for the official "meet and greet" for each of the featured products today! Also, make sure to leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs, for a chance to win one of two COMPLETE Confetti Encore Collection Bundles!!! My first card for today features some of the featured products from yesterday paired with today's so to show you how well everything goes together! There is a brand-new suite of products called Hey Honeycomb and I know you're going to love them as much as I do! This collection of products is designed to be used with the Honeycomb Balls that will available for purchase. You can see the holiday version of the Honeycomb Balls HERE! They are exactly the same, just different colors for this release! This card uses the new Hey Honeycomb Party Hat die WITHOUT a Honeycomb ball to show you that they can be used with or without a ball attached. I have another card later on that DOES use a Honeycomb ball AND the new Hey Honeycomb Sentiments stamp set. I mentioned yesterday that you would be seeing more streamers, tiny presents, and Ticker Tape hot foiling! I just love how each element comes together to bring the card to life! The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Four Square Birthday Tag die. The little flower at the top of the hat is from the Hey Honeycomb Basics die and you will see another use for that later on as well. My next card features the adorable new Hey Honeycomb Ice Cream Cone die paired with the new What's the Scoop stamp set and die. I didn't think I would love this sweet set as much as I do! It's so much fun to create with and the results are just so cute! To begin, I die cut the pieces to create the "scoop" word....there are coordinating stamps for each of the letters, but I simply used a finger dauber and ink to color the different letters and the chocolate "topping" and glued them together with liquid glue. I added the letters to the shadow using foam squares. I inked up the ice cream dollops in the same colors and added the chocolate and cherry on top! The "thank you" has a coordinating die, which I love! It's so easy to add it over the top of the Ticker Tape hot foiled background (yep! I used it AGAIN!) ha ha! The sentiment set has so many fun options; I chose to make something suitable to give to my son's teacher for Teacher Appreciation Week coming up! I love that there is tiny cherry to add to the top of the "scoop" word, too! So many fun details! My next project features the fun new Award Winning Die and the new Inflated Sentiments stamp set! This stamp set also works well with the Hey Honeycomb suite of products! I mentioned yesterday that my birthday stash has been lacking, so I opted for a birthday sentiment, but there are SO many celebratory occasions to choose from in this new set! I love how realistic the ribbons look, don't you? I can't wait to put them to use in another way! I doubled the base piece on the ribbon for a fuller effect! I also used foam squares to give it dimension! Okay! THIS project uses the new Hey Honeycomb Flower Power die WITH a Honeycomb Ball....I have pictures with it opened up later on, so stay tuned. I wanted you to see how it will look when the recipient gets it! The Hey Honeycomb Basics die comes with the portion on the right and the portion on the left. You simply stamp/emboss (like I did) the words that you'd like. There are a few different options, but they all let the recipient know what to do. I used the new Adhesive Sheets to die cut the little flower (that's the one I had on the top of my party hat). It has a backing so it's not sticky until the recipient peels it off. and voila! You can see how cute it is with the Honeycomb Ball! The new assortment has such fun and bright colors, just perfect for a celebration! The additional flowers are also included in the Hey Honeycomb Flower Power die set and they make the cutest accents! I also added streamers (of course), the Ticker Tape hot foil (of course) and a sentiment from Four Square Birthday Tags sentiments (of course)...I'm becoming SO predictable, aren't I? ha ha! Well, this concludes today's projects! Make sure to leave a comment on the other designers' blogs for a chance to win one of the two prizes being offered today! Thanks for fluttering by! Our hearts are longing to join in a joyfilled Easter morning celebration, but we trust in the Lord and render to our Caesar and so we stay-at-home. Print Shop Fresh Floral stamp and stencil set. I'm on the list to be notified when the dies are in, but for now I satisfy my itch by using my Distress Oxide inks and create these lovely cards. Hello and welcome back for day 2 of full reveals for the Handiwork Collection from The Greetery! I'm glad you're all loving this new release as much as I am...thank you for your sweet comments yesterday! The official "meet and greet" for today's featured products is HERE; you'll be able to see all of the details for each new product. Also, make sure to leave a comment here and on all of the designers' blogs for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to the shop! My first card for today uses the precious new "Sew Vintage" stamp/die set. I am absolutely smitten with it. It is easy to assemble and 'sew' much fun! It comes with a handy guide to ensure you will get great results. I was a little worried thinking I would have to stamp a bunch of these tiny filigree details on the machine, but it is all one stamp and then you can add the little word sentiments on the top. I chose the darling 'sew lovely' sentiment, but there are a few others for variety. For this card, I used the Hoopla Round die and the Hoopla Round Inserts die. This provides that sweet stitched detail around the edge, just perfect for this card. The beautiful sentiment underneath the machine is also from the 'Sew Vintage' stamp set. I couldn't resist adding a few more of the Embroidered Blooms that were showcased yesterday; they give the perfect touch for this card. I did a tone-on-tone effect with the Embroidered Background stamp; Sweet Blush cardstock and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink. You can see it a little bit better on the top right corner. Eep! My second card for today uses the CUTEST new Notionable die....it is the cutest thing EVER!!! The scissors, the tomato pin cushion, the thimble and thread....EVERYTHING!!! I used a brad so the scissors are hinged and actually work! They are stuck down, but still....right???? I thought it would be fun to create a 'sewing box' type card using the beloved Curio: Cover Die and the Curio: Divider and Details die. For those of you who don't know, I also have a (much neglected) sewing blog called Thimbles and Thread and this whole release is calling me to get back to it! ha ha! I used all of the elements included in the Notionable Die collection....you will find a set of four pins with toppers you can customize, a thimble, thread spools, thread, tomato pincushion, scissors, and a nedle. Everything is perfectly designed so that they almost look real, especially the adorable scissors!!! The sentiments are both from the Sew Vintage stamp set and I just love how they work so perfectly with all of these sweet dies. I also tucked a Hoopla Mini in the right hand corner; the heart one, of course, to tie in the "love" theme. I used the Embroidered Background stamp for the base of the sewing box to give it some added detail and "sewing" charm. Here's a little peek at the process I used to allow me to get the pins on the pin card. Since they are actually paper, it was a little tricky to get them down the slits. I used my paper piercer to open the slits up a bit and then I put the pins in. I secured them in the back of the pin card using scotch tape. This is the same technique I used to get the needle into the spool of thread. My final card for today uses the AMAZING new Rose Tapestry Stencil collection...I stenciled everything in blues and greens and then used the Aida Cloth texture plate over the top. I was scared to try it for fear I would ruin the beautiful tapestry background, but I love the result. For this card I wanted to create an 'in-progress' type look. I chose to use the scissors, thread, and thimble as focal points and then the sentiment to reinforce the theme. I also used another Embroidered Bloom on the corner over the hoop for added detail. The sentiment is heat embossed in silver to accent the metallic paper used for the scissors, needle, and thimble. I chose to use Vintage Cream cardstock to use with the Tapestry Stencils....I felt it would give it a nice vintage look. I'm sure the other designers will showcase how these amazing stencils look without the Aida Cloth Texture Plate, but I just love the detail it give the card! This release is so much fun....everything will be available for purchase starting tomorrow at 10 am ET. Thanks for fluttering by! Angelica Dana Dawn Kelly (you are here) Laurie Melissa Wanda
