The legs only need to catch the lift bar in order for the suction cups to properly do their job. Please note that these do not come permanently attached to the piece. I personally prefer to have the option of easily removing them for washing purposes. However, if you decide you want them permanently attached to your piece, you can simply glue them on. I would recommend using e6000 which works great on ceramic ware. UNIQUENESS Slight imperfections are a part of handmade pottery and add character to the piece. All of my pieces are personally handcrafted and wheel thrown by me (Mandy). There are no molds or slip casts ever used. I utilize a variety of firing types in order to achieve the 'kiln magic' that makes each piece unique. During this firing process, the glazes may take on slight variations, but you will find them to be nearly identical to what is shown in the photographs. Welcome to Nanna's Garden garden sign makes a unique gift for many occasions, including a gender reveal event! Available in two spellings: Nanna, Nana Handmade with a durable ceramic tile, the sign is treated with several layers of protective coating to make it weather resistant. But like many plants (and people!) it will fare better if it’s kept out of the blazing summer sun! Wipe it clean and store it indoors in the winter. Your purchase will be carefully wrapped using recycled materials (proud to do my small part). There are no prices on the signs. If your purchase is a gift, you won't need to unwrap the package if you don't want to. In my garden, it's poked in the ground with stakes that I glued to the back with waterproof (permanent) glue. This helps prevent squirrels from knocking it over! I also use a plastic display easel (plate stand) to keep the sign above the soil and provide stability. The sign stays put all summer! Depending on how you will display the sign, you can choose one of these options at checkout: 1) Choose "AS IS – Tile Only" for just the tile. 2) Choose "Sawtooth Hanger" if you want to hang the sign (on a post, fence, shed or barn). I'll attach it to back of the sign for you. You can add cornice hooks (L-shaped cup hooks) for added support. 3) Choose “Plate Stand” to display it on a flat surface. The 5" plastic plate stand (black or clear, depending on availability) will be packed separately with the sign. 4) Choose “Plate Stand/Stake(s)” to poke it among the garden plants while keeping it above the soil.
