Recipe video above. Looks so festive, easy to make and a flavour bomb inside! Terrific economical, make ahead alternative to expensive cheese platters. It's like an antipasto platter in cheese log form! Adaptable and versatile! **Can freeform it instead of using loaf pan**

A woman having her hair styled by Frans Van Oers in 1971. The lovely lady pictured at the top of this post is getting the mother of all holiday hairdos by Dutch stylist Frans Van Oers in 1971. It seems that this kind of holiday hair was a thing in the Netherlands as Van Oers was not the only stylist creating these whimsical types of yuletide hairdos. Another Dutchman, Robert Engelander, was also known for coming up with extravagant holiday-themed hairstyles. A different kitschy throwback when it comes to decorating your head for the holidays was the invention of the Christmas tree hat. The hats were popularized during the 1950s and 1960s—though you’ve probably seen at least a few festive folks wearing modern adaptations around town during December. However, nothing quite beats the vintage awesomeness of the Christmas tree hats/hair I’ve dug up for you today. Merry Christmas! A Christmas-themed updo by Dutch stylist Robert Engelander. YES. It's time for week 14 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every week the Art With Heart Team are sharing heaps of Christmas inspiration with you. This week I have used one of the Christmas stamps from the annual catalogue. It's a background stamp called Festive Foliage. I inked the stamp in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large image as it makes it much easier to reink and restamp the image if it doesn't stamp perfectly the first time. I also stamped and heat embossed the greeting from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Gold Emboss Powder. Our Embossing Powders come in either a Basics Collection with Black, White and Clear and a Metallic Collection with Gold, Silver and Copper. I cut out the greeting using one of the dies from the Pierced Blooms Dies. I love the border of dots that is part of this very versatile dies. It's a great size for so many greetings. I coloured the leaves with the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Blends Markers. A piece of Evening Evergreen Chevron Ribbon is behind the greeting. The final embellishment is a few Red Rhinestones scattered around the card. All of the products I have used for this card are listed below with links that will take you to my online store if you are interested in purchasing. For more Christmas inspiration it's time to visit the very talented Caroline Manwaring to what she has to share with us.
