I invite you to watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL REPLAY at the bottom of this post if you missed it live yesterday. We had so much fun stamping with the Tulip Fields stamp set, despite the small mishap with the Stamparatus magnet!! Yes, I'm sorry the Stamparatus photo above is a little blurry.. oops. But when you watch the video below, you'll get the idea and see why I used it. I wanted to line it up straight with the grid paper. For more info about the awesome Stamparatus, watch my series of 6 FREE instructional videos here!
Oh my goodness! The Flowering Fields Suite is simply amazing. It features not just one bundle, but two! Watching today's video is a must.
Today’s tutorial is for a Tulip Fields card. This time I'm adding dies, that together with the stamp set, make up the Tulip Fields bundle.
Hello, Hero Arts fans! Welcome back for another episode of the Color Layering video series! In this video and episode, we are taking a closer look at the new Tulip Field HeroScape set. If you aren’t familiar with these stamps, there are 3 sets in the line, the Lavender Field, the Tulip Field, and the Sunflower Field. All are large 6x8 clear stamps that have a beautiful layering to create a blooming field of either lavender, tulips or sunflowers. I was blown away by these stamps and by how easy it was to use them to make absolutely stunning cards. If you like to create little scenes on your projects - these stamps are for you, and I suggest you get all 3 sets because then you’ll be able to mix and match the little accents from the sets. Watch the video tutorial below to learn how I made the cards I'm sharing today. If you’re having a problem viewing this video, please try watching it HERE in HD on YouTube. This stamp set is very easy to use, all you need is 4 colors of ink - 2 for the grass and 2 for the flowers. I used my mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp several blooming tulip fields, in different ink colors, to make 3 cards. It’s easy to stamp multiple images when using these stamps. I used Moss ink for the solid grass layer and Forever Green for the detail grass layer. To stamp flowers, I used several ink color combinations. Butter Bar and Caramel for the yellow tulips: Bubble Gum and Crimson to stamp the pink tulips: And finally Orchid and Grape Juice to stamp the purple tulips: Once all my panels were stamped I stamped a few additional pieces for my cards - several trees in Forever Green ink, windmills in Wet Cement and Soft Brown and hot air balloons in various ombre ink pad colors. I used coordinating dies to cut these images out. With all of my images cut out, I trimmed the blooming fields down slightly to measure 4” wide. I added a generous layer of foam adhesive tape to the back of each of the blooming fields and set them aside to make a sky for my cards. For this I used a panel of Mist cardstock, cut to 4 x 5 1/4” and ink blended white pigment ink, Unicorn White, over it to mimic clouds. I blended the white ink where the blooming field ends to make it look like to horizon is very cloudy and also added some faint clouds to the top of the panel to soften this panel up. With the ink blending done I stamped sentiments. I used sentiments that come with the Tulip Field stamp set and stamped them in black ink directly onto the panel, in the center. The sentiments for my cards read

Well, you know me.... I love ALL the flowers, and this Flowering Fields Suite from Stampin' UP! is definitely one of my favorites!!! With 2 bundles, designer paper, embellishments and ribbon, it has so much to offer! See the Flowering Fields Suite! I hope you enjoy my simple card today with the color combo suggestions for stamping the Flowering Tulips flowers I used on this card. Hello my crafting friends, Today I would like to share with you these two beautiful tulip cards I created for Stampin’ Up!’s Artisan Design Team Showcase in February 2022. I was asked to use the Flowering Tulips & Tulip Fields Bundles in the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. If you are interested in any of these products make sure to purchase them before June as some do not carryover to the New 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I love the seamless look you can achieve for the flowers and leaves by stamping color on color. For example some the Tulips have been stamped in Petal Pink Ink on Petal Pink Cardstock. I have also done this technique with Fresh Freesia & Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves/stems. I also share another seamless technique when you stamp on Basic White Cardstock, but don’t want the white border around your images. Make sure to check it out. Place each stamp for the flower on one clear block, one on each side. It is easier to keep track of them this way. 2- On colored cardstock stamp the larger flower first in the same color ink. Then line up the second stamp and ink and stamp. The area where the two color overlap will be slightly darker. 3- Repeat for all colors. I used Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather. I cut one of each flower size in each color. Total 9 flowers. Cut out with coordinating dies. 4- For the leaves and stems, stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink on Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Cut out with coordinating dies. I cut 8 stems, 4 large leaves, 4 small leaves. Card #1 – So Saffron 1- Stamp the triangle flower fields stamp in So Saffron ink on the 4” x 5 ¼” So Saffron Cardstock in a sunburst pattern. 2- Create a white splatter effect by opening an old Chalk Marker and squeezing a little ink onto a clear block or paper plate. Use some water and a paint brush to splatter across the cardstock. Let dry. Add to the front of a So Saffron Cardbase. 3- Add a little detailed background like the Vellum Square Doilies in the center. 4- Add two flowers to the left with dimensionals. Tuck in a stem at the bottom of each flower. Add two leaves with dimensionals. 5- Stamp your greeting in VersaMark on Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Add White Embossing Powder and heat to set. Then fussy cut out. Add to the center of the card with dimensionals. 6- Add a couple Brass Butterflies around the flowers. All Done! Card #2 1- Stamp a couple clouds in Pool Party ink on the top half 4” x 5 ¼” Pool Party Cardstock. 2- Add 6 flowers to the bottom half of the cardstock with dimensionals. Tuck in a stem to each flower and add leaves to fill in the gaps. Trim off any pieces hanging off the bottom. 3- Cut out the Tulip Border from Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Add to the bottom of the Pool Party piece. Trim off any overhanging areas. 4- Wrap 5” of Ribbon along the bottom edge. Tuck the ends to the back. Add to the front of the Pool Party Cardbase. 5- Stamp the small Windmill in Memento Black Ink. Use the Smoky Slate Blends to color in details. Solid area on the blades/fan, the window, the door. Then use the Pool Party Blend to color around the Windmill, make sure to add color into the open areas on the blades/fan and the railing/deck. Cut out with coordinating dies. Add above the Tulips. 6- Stamp your greeting in VersaMark on Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Add White Embossing Powder and heat to set. Trim to a rectangle shape and add a banner shape to the left edge. Add to the right side in the top half of the card with dimensionals. 7- Add some Pearl Basic Jewels around the flowers and greeting. All Done! I have been wanting to demonstrate how to stamp a field of tulips using the Tulip Fields Stamp Set. Stampin' Up! shared this with demonstrators at one of our last OnTour gatherings, and I just haven't had time to try it! This particular card was originally shared by Kelly Acheson. I made a few tweaks, and here is mine! Measurements: Calypso Coral: 4 1/4" x 8 1/4", 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" strip Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 5/8" x 4 1/8" Flowering Fields DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 1 1/4" x 4 1/8", 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" (strip of tulips), 1/2" x 2 5/8"(back), Pear Pizzazz: 1 1/4" x 4 1/8" (strip of tulips) Basic Black: scrap To Make This Card: Score the 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" piece at 1 3/8" - 2 3/4". Turn and repeat at the other end. Crease well with a bone folder creating an "accordion" fold. Adhere 2 DSP strips to front panels. Set aside. Next, we'll stamp the White, center panel. Stamp the "windmill" in Memento Black in the center of this piece, near the top. This will dictate the placement of the "field of flowers". Place a pencil mark at the center of this piece. (approx at 1 3/8" in). Place White piece into the Stamparatus. Line up the long piece of "flowers" with the bottom of the "windmill", with the "center" of the field lined up with the pencil mark. Before closing the acrylic plate, look at the grid and make sure the flowers are straight! Now, ink up the stamp with Poppy Parade. Stamp your piece. Next, take the "wedge" of flowers, ink up the first "wedge" in Poppy Parade, hand stamp with the point matching the pencil mark. Clean stamp. Next, ink up the "wedge" in Calypso Coral. Hand stamp on either side of the "base wedge". Clean stamp. And, lastly, ink up the "wedge" in Flirty Flamingo and stamp into the remaining opening wedges. Add a tint of "sky" in Pool Party using a Blending Brush. Stamp several clouds, in Pool Party around the "windmill". Attach this piece, onto center of card. Next, cut strip of "flowers" from the Tulips Dies into both the Pear Pizzazz strip and the tulip strip. The Pear Pizzazz you will leave intact and attach directly to the "bridge" piece. Trim excess. Take the DSP strip and cut off the "stems", leaving just the "flowers". Attach this to the Pear Pizzazz stems. Add Tear & Tape to ends of "bridge" and attach to card as shown. FInish with a die cut, black bicycle on front. If desired, add White piece to back side for sentiment and signature. The CAS Colours & Sketches team is back with a fun new challenge today! I'm guest designing with them all month and this week the challenge is a great sketch! A little bit of a split or wave element down the center and then a non-geometric shape towards the bottom. This is definitely one of those challenges that I had a lot of ideas for but it took a while to get to one where I was happy with the finished product after a few trials. I took the split down the center of the sketch literally and used the Basic Borders cloud die to cut a piece of Basic White into two pieces. I adhered a piece of colorful Flowering Fields DSP in the center of the card base and then popped the cloud panels up with dimensionals. For my non-geometric shape I thought the windmill would be perfect to go with the tulip DSP. I stamped it in Soft Suede, highlighted a bit of it with a blender pen and Crumb Cake ink and then cut it out. I popped it up on a small piece of retired shimmer ribbon in Pear Pizzazz. It looked like it was just floating out in the clouds with out some sort of base! I dug through my stamps to find a smaller birthday greeting to fit with the scale of the windmill and found it in Penguin Place. I stamped it in Calypso Coral to the side of the windmill. And finally to balance the heavier elements at the bottom of the card I cut a few clouds and added them above the windmill. I also colored them with a bit of clear Wink of Stella which doesn't show up in the photo. Head over to CAS Colours & Sketches and see the fabulous samples from the Design Team and then play along! Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Tulip Fields, Penguin Place Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral Paper: Basic White thick, Basic White, Flowering Fields DSP Accessories: Basic Borders dies, Windmill Fields dies, dimensionals, Wink of Stella, Shimmer Ribbon (retired)

Need help designing a card? We all lose our stampin' mojo from time to time and need a little help getting started again. Last night I shared a great way to do that. I received a card in the mail from my sister, Tina Rappe. The card was so adorable.

Hi Stampers! Today I have three cards and a little treat box I created using the TULIP FIELDS BUNDLE from the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ JANUARY - JUNE 2022 MINI CATALOG. Let’s take a look at the cards. Her name is Carole Parsons and here is the link to Carole’s blog post MAGNOLIA’S PLACE. Here is what you will need to create the treat box: * 1 die cut of windmill blades in color of choice; if using white I suggest using Basic White Thick * 2 dies cuts of windmill details * 2 die cuts of windmill shape - I stamped the tulip field image on Basic White in Pacific Blue, then die cut, but you can use any cardstock or DSP you like * 2 more die cuts of windmill shape in coordinating color - these will be used to cover up the back of the windmill. * For the box you will need a 3 1/2” square of cardstock scored at 1” on all sides. Clip and miter the corner pieces, and put the box together Adhere the detailed windmill to the windmill shaped image. Place a brad through all three pieces, and secure the brad Attach several dimensionals to the back side of the windmill, allowing room for the brad to move freely Adhere the coordinating windmill shape to the windmill Use liquid adhesive or adhesive of choice to attach the windmill to the box. Construct another windmill and adhere it to the box. Thereyou go, you now have a window treat box! * Stampin’ Up! brads can be found on page 143 of the annual catalog. The package contains black and white brads in two shapes; round and square. The white brads scan be colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to add color. As you can see, the Tulip Fields Bundle offers endless possibilities for creativity! That’s all for today. Thank you for stopping by, until next time… Stamp Happy! Happiness Is Tulip Fields and Windmills. Today I share a pair of projects using the Tulip Fields Bundle from the new Mini Catalogue.
Hi Stampers! Today I have three cards and a little treat box I created using the TULIP FIELDS BUNDLE from the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ JANUARY - JUNE...
Need card ideas that use the ‘Tulip Fields’ Stampin’ Up! Bundle. I’m sharing the tips for stamping the tulips & coloring the windmill.
If this looks a little familiar, that would be because I shared these Z fold cards a few weeks ago with you, and I loved them SO much that I decided to do another one and this time with the Stampin' UP! Tulip Fields bundle and the cute windmill! This multi panel Z fold card folds up to fit into a regular A2 size envelope, below is the view from the top. Dimensions: Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″ and 2-1/8″. Cut 6×6 New Horizons paper to 5-1/4″ tall, then cut at 2″ and 4″. THAT’s
I just had to make a card like in the spring catty page 14 with the Tulip Fields bundle for my first class card for March card classes. I used a Petal Pink base and then cut a piece of white card stock 3 1/2" by 5 1/2". I stamped on the white card stock first with the tulips in Petal Pink ink from the Tulip Fields set then added the rows of Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight. I then belnded on Balmy Blue ink with my blending brush at the top. I stamped a few clouds in that same color ink. On another piece of white card stock, I stamped the windmill in Early Espresso ink and the tree in Pear Pizzazz ink and cut them with the matching dies called Windmill Fields dies. I also stamped the small tree gathering to the right side of the windmill in Pear ink. I then stamped the sentiment from Beauty of Friendhsip on a Petal Pink label die cut with the Potted Succulent dies. Hope you have a awesome day and thanks for stopping by! Windy Stamp sets: Tulip Fields, Beauty of Friendship Ink: Early Espresso, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, and Petal Pink. Paper: Basic White, Petal Pink POtted Succulent dies, Windmill Field dies, blending brush
I finally had some time to play with my new stamp sets and dies from the 2022 Mini catalog from Stampin UP! This catalog has so many great sets. The card I’m sharing today uses the Tulip Fields Bun…
Timeless Tulips Stamp Set pairs perfectly with the new Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper for today's Sunday Sketch Card!
Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend full of fun and lots of time to stamp! I spent some time in my stamp room playing with a bunch of challenges as well as just having fun with my stamps with no particular 'to do' list in mind. The Tic Tac Toe Challenge has a fun board to choose from this time and it was hard to choose which line to go with. I wanted to use my Flowering Tulips bundle some more so I pulled that out and got to work on my card using flowers, pink or purple and CAS. Even though this card has some layers I consider this one CAS because it's uncluttered with open space and a limited color palette. The Tulips really pop against the white and gray wood grain background. The Heart & Home DSP has lovely patterns on both sides but these white/gray wood designs are perfect when you want to add just a little something to without going overboard. And since this card was to be CA it's the perfect choice. I used the Sale-a-Bration paper Simply Marbleous to die cut the tulips. The two different patterns really add a nice touch to the flower petals. I made one fuller blossom and one bud with Pear Pizzazz stamped leaves and stem. A narrow strip of Blushing Bride under the DSP anchors the sentiments which is stamped in Basic Gray and punched out. I added a bit of crinkled seam binding ribbon behind it for a little shine. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Flowering Tulips Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Basic Gray Paper: Basic White thick, Basic White, Heart & Home DSP, Simply Marbleous DSP (SAB), Blushing Bride Accessories: Tulips dies, dimensionals, circle punch, crinkled seam binding ribbon
