Alternate craft for Twists and Turns VBS. Used an acrylic 5x7 frame, photocopy of Scrabble board and copies of needed letter tiles and tan craft foam sheets. The kids will cut out the Scrabble letter tiles, glue them onto the foam sheets and then glue them onto the frame.

And can pick up some speed in them! • The last Pliè on the last a le second turn is what matters the most for floating turns • You have to push into the floor on that turn^ twice as hard because you won’t have the opportunity to Pliè during the float. • Use the floor a lot so you can stay up for a few rotations • It’s not necessarily about speed it’s more about the power of the last turn • THINK OF YOUR CORE THE WHOLE TIME WITH THESE TURNS • the more you engage it^ the better it will be and the more centered you’ll feel • Try with the arms by your side first because sometimes bringing the arms up can feel like dead weight if you aren’t engaging every part of your body :) Hope this helps :)
