Typography C, Project 2: Type History Poster. Created through Adobe Illustrator. The assignment was to design a poster that showcased a classic type face; and I chose to work with the font, American Typewriter. Part 1 was to design a monochrome poster; only working with white, black, and grey. Part 2 consisted of two colored variations. I began by choosing a direct complementary scheme, focusing with blue and orange. Eventually my idea evolved into using warm tones for one of the colored posters and cool tones on the other. I like the retro feel, hope you do to :)
