Vi ricordate il post che ho scritto recentemente sul colore verde menta? Una delle immagini che avevo scelto appartiene ad una casa di cui vale la pena fare l'intero home tour! La sua proprietaria è Marie Worsaae, fondatrice del brand di Aiayu, azienda danese che ha legato l'eleganza e la semplicità del design scandinavo con la qualità e sostenibilità dei filati boliviani creando prodotti tessili e complementi per la casa nel settore luxory. Questa è l'immagine scelta per la mia guida sull'uso del verde menta per gli interni. Un verde grigio saturo e di carattere. Marie vive nell'elegante e centralissimo quartiere di Frederiksstaden a Copenhagen, in una casa affascinate per la sua matericità e consistenza. Ogni oggetto qui è scelto per essere vissuto ed utilizzato, come ha dichiarato nell'intervista al magazine Cereal da cui sono tratte queste immagini. "the space is “full of what matters” and carries traces of my work, travels, friends and family" "I like to buy pieces that become part of my everyday, and stick with me for a long time" Il mix equilibrato e riuscitissimo di arredi di design con pezzi più rustici e materiali grezzi ne fanno una casa piena di personalità. Vintage, industrial, etnico e moderno convivono beatamente e gli accenti di colore scaldano le atmosfere e le legano al filo conduttore che richiama l'attività della proprietaria. Non so se a voi danno la stessa sensazione, ma le immagini della casa di Marie mi raccontano di stanze dove la vita scorre lenta, comoda, rilassata. Dove i dettagli sono importanti a trasmettere bellezza ma anche serenità. Credo che nelle case scandinave questo concetto sia strettamente legato alla capacità di non creare ambienti sovraffollati e pieni. Mi rendo conto che in casa mia, piccola e, nonostante i miei tentativi, comunque troppo carica di oggetti, questa confusione genera una distrazione a volte fastidiosa... Ogni estate comunque torno su questo punto. La ricerca di una pausa dallo stress e dal lavoro mi porta a cercare luoghi che portano con sé lentezza e leggerezza.
