Looking to make something truly special for the up-and-coming Valentine? You can’t go wrong with these printable DIY ideas.
This sweet little card comes from my upline, Lorri Heiling. One of my stampers (Linda) spotted it and it was just too cute to pass up. Valentine's Day will be here faster than we know and you'll want to get a head start on those special cards. Recipe: Real Red - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" Basic Black - 5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" I used scraps for the hearts - Melon Mambo, Real Red, Sweet Sugarplum, Pink Pirouette. Just use whatever you have that will match up nicely. The hearts were cut using the die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. It cuts several at a time, so it won't take long to get lots of little hearts. Plus, I found I was able to cut two colors at a time without too much hard cranking on the Big Shot. Stamps: Jar of Love and Labels to Love. Labels to Love is from the 2017 Holiday Mini, but it is carrying over to the spring! Yay! Now, don't freak out on me here.... but... I cut the LOVE stamp into individual letters. You could work with a perfectly clean stamp and just ink one letter at a time, cleaning it well in between so you don't get a shadow from the previous letter. A little extra that I added to my card was to add some lines to the hearts that are coming out through the lip of the jar. If you just glue them down on the ridges there, they won't look like their coming from inside the jar. So, once they are glue down, I used my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and drew on the lines. You can also see a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella on a few of the hearts. In Phoenix today, we're all watching the sky for clouds and rain! We have an actual 90% chance of rain over night tonight. We rarely have a 90% chance of rain. It's so exciting. May have to have a party to celebrate! LOL I'd rather it be in the daytime, but we're so dry around here we'll take whatever we can get! Thank you for looking in today! Hi stampers! I've decided to celebrate Groundhog Day by doing two things: (1) Having a Birthday Stamp-a-Stack class and (2) helping my daughter raise money for her Robotics team. Sooooooo... You're invited to my Groundhog Day Birthday Stamp-a-Stack When: Saturday,...
Here's a gorgeous Valentine's Day card for you today!! I received this card as a swap earlier this month and knew we'd have to make it at class - and we did!! (at the January Simple Beautiful Card Class!). Thanks so much to Kirsteen Gill for her inspiration on this card! We start our card with a Real Red card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock to our card. At the bottom corner, we stamped "sending love" in Real Red ink using the Sealed with Love Stamp Set. This stamp set has so many great greetings and images - perfect for Valentine's Day or any time you want to say "I love you". Sealed with Love Photopolymer Stamp Set 142815 $21.00 Next, we punched 3 hearts using our Sweetheart Punch - one in Red Glimmer Paper and 2 more Real Red patterned hearts using the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack. Sweetheart Punch 133786 $16.00 Red Glimmer Paper 121790 $5.00 Sending Love Designer Series Paper 142733 $10.00 Next, we stamped those 4 tiny hearts in a row (also from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set) and die-cut them, along with the small Whisper White heart and the Red & White polka dot heart (with the stripes die-cut from it) using our Love Notes Framelits. You can purchase the Sealed with Love Stamp Set and Love Notes Framelits separately, or save 10% when you buy them in the bundle! Love Notes Framelits 142752 $30.00 Sealed with Love Bundle 144705 $45.75 And... to see all of the bundles (on which you always save 10%!!), just click here!! Finally, we added our hearts to our card, along with stamping the red circular flowers/hearts. I just laid my hearts on the card, then picked each one up and carefully stamped behind it so the stamped images would peak out from behind the punched hearts. I hope you enjoyed this card!! And remember.... you receive a FREE Sale-a-Bration item with every $50 order January 4 - March 31!! For example, if you buy the Sealed with Love Bundle and the Sending Love Designer Series Paper, you can select a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!! Or.... if you want LOTS of product...... There's a great Starter Kit Deal going on during Sale-a-Bration (now thru March 31)!! Not only do you get to select $125 in product and pay only $99 plus tax, now you ALSO get to select 2 FREE STAMP SETS!!!! (any sets!!) That's an additional value of up to $104!! There is no risk or obligation to purchase anything additional after you buy the Starter Kit. But... if you do decide to order, you'll receive 20% off your order (and who doesn't love a deal??)!! Valentine’s day is approaching and many will turn to the boring card islands in supermarkets hopelessly searching for the one that stands out. Fortunately, Bored Panda conveniently collected a list of Valentine's day cards which let you express your love in a fun and unconventional way and without being overly romantic about it. Some of these honest love cards are cheeky, others are adorably funny but mostly they let you celebrate the little things in a relationship that matters the most.
