This is a handy introduction to the various values of graphite pencils. The worksheet includes areas to try out and label different graphite pencils (6B, 4B, HB, 2H, etc.) and shade spheres. This typically takes my high school Art 1 class about 30 minutes to complete. 2. Beginner Value Worksheets with Graphite Pencil- Value Scales Value scales have one pencil with increased pressure, multiple pencils, cross-hatching, stippling, scumbling, and blended values. This typically takes my high school Art 1 class about 45 minutes to complete. 3. Shading the Basic Geometric Forms Graphite Pencil (or Ink) Art Value Worksheet This is a worksheet for students to see examples of shading on the five basic geometric forms. They then have space to practice adding shading to the forms. This can be used with graphite colored pencils or even ballpoint pen. This typically takes my high school Art 1 students about 30 minutes to complete. 4.
