Metallic Powder Reflections Pigments composed of mica nano- particles coated with various organic and inorganic pigments to create pearlescent and iridescent effects that mimic the natural look of stone and rock formations. These unique pigments are designed to be field blended with a 100% solids clear epoxy binder. When the metallic particles are mixed with epoxy they give the coating a shine that reflects light and creates and eye catching dramatic color. For the most vivid color and dynamic effects we recommend minimum 4 oz or more of pigment for every gallon of epoxy. Example, a 3 gallon of epoxy would require a total of 12 oz of metallic powder pigment. Mix powder with resin first before adding hardener. Be sure to apply backdrop color first, using one of our colored epoxy kits one day prior before starting metallic process. Cover is approximately 55-60 Sq.Ft per gallon using 1/8" x 1/8" rubber notch squeegee or magic trowel. The metal pigment for the course of the next 4 hours will start to take a new shape, new looks and amazing finishes. Disclaimer: The colors are represented as closely as possible. This is one of my favorite pieces to date!! I just love the way the paint flowed in this one and the shimmer it gives in light! It has gray negative space that allows the eye to focus more on the vivid colors in this piece. It is 24" in diameter. I put heavy duty hangers on the back with a wire for easy hanging. It has 2 coats of epoxy resin on the top which really draws out the colors! I have a video of this being made on my YouTube channel, (Angie's Artistic Brew), that you can watch how it is being painted. I use high quality professional paints for all of my paintings. I use KS Resin, which is awesome! This one would certainly be an eye-catcher on your wall! I really put my heart into this one. I hope ya'll like it!! If you have any questions or would like for me to do a commissioned piece for you, just shoot me a line.

Optional add on - Stone Coat's Ultimate Top Coat for maximum durability Quick Guide Instructions: When applying 4-5 ounces per square foot on your countertop, it is crucial to incorporate a tape dam along the perimeter of the countertop. After mixing, the tape dam should be removed approximately 1.25-1.5 hours later. For optimal coverage, measure around 4-5 ounces per square foot of countertop. Using a paddle mixer and drill, mix the epoxy for 2 minutes. If mixing by hand with a paint stick, double the mixing time. Midway through mixing, scrape the sides with a stick. Divide the mixed epoxy into separate mixing cups and thoroughly incorporate the provided colors. Randomly layer the colored epoxy back into the larger mixing bucket, avoiding mixing the colors together. Once the bucket is full, simply pour it onto the countertop for an instant epoxy finish. To eliminate air incorporated during mixing, use a propane torch or heat gun to sweep the surface from 1-2 inches away. Remove the tape dam 1.25-1.5 hours after mixing and use a gloved hand to wet any dry areas on the edges, promoting even flow of the epoxy. Allow the epoxy to cure for 18-24 hours before applying a clear coat or the ultimate top coat as a final step.

This beautiful Dutch pour is one of my favorites thus far. I love purple and teal, and together with the other colors are just gorgeous! The light really makes that gold come alive. It is about 19.5 inches in diameter. I added 2 coats of epoxy resin for a topcoat and it looks like glass. The resin really brings out all of the pretty details. It has that 70's vibe, which I love. I was a teenager in the 70's and all of that era's décor has greatly influenced my artwork. There will never be such an awesome decade as the 70's. But anyway, if you love purple and vivid colors, you will love this one!! It has a wire attached to the back and is ready to hang. I cut the wood out of birch so it is very sturdy. If you would like to see how this one is made, check it out on my YouTube, "Angie's Artistic Brew", video 69. Go ahead and subscribe while you are over there! lol Thanks for visiting my shop and come back as I am adding new stuff every day. Stay well and take care!!
