1967 Saab Wagon www.flickr.com/photos/moonm/sets/
Photographed at the July 27, 2012 preview to the RM auction at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan. The only 1948 Hudson woodie station wagon ever built, this project (based on a Hudson woodie design study by Hudson designer Don Butler) was begun in the mid-1990s. Starting with a 1948 Hudson 4-door sedan, the restoration took over twelve years to complete. Purchased here by Eldon Hostetler for $159,500. However, after Mr. Hostetler's passing, the car crossed the block for only $60,500 at the August 4, 2018 auction of his collection. All of my classic car photos can be found here: Car Collections Press L for a larger image on black.
