WH40k Space Marine by Jerac awesome, its not a custom minifig in the conventional sense, though the use of a lego starwars storm trooper helmet is really cool.

See the movie here. A relatively quick, zero-budget* build. While me other wh40k models were certainly fun to build, they lacked some simple playability. Launching tanks is problematic as I never seem to have them charged up and other models aren't really durable enough for anything but gathering dust. This one is diffrent - altough it does not shoot, you can pull the slider, then release it with trigger (if not in safe mode), and of course there is reloading action. I had no references other than basic drawings from the rules book so details are mostly mine - and unlike other models, I tried to stop myself from greebling and texturing whenever possible. * Which means I used only parts I had at home.
