De indie-popband WIES bestaat uit 3 bandleden, Jeanne, Jasper en Tobias. Ze kennen elkaar van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, het begon allemaal als een try-out, maar dat beviel zo goed dat vanaf de zomer van 2018 WIES is geboren. Ondanks dat de band nog niet lang bestaat spelen ze al in zalen als de Melkweg, Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg én wonnen ze de Amsterdamse Popprijs 2018. De muziek die ze maken is een unieke mix tussen rock, elektronische pop en daarbij Nederlandstalige teksten. De muziek is geinspireerd op Spinvis, Ramses Shaffy en Maarten Roozendaal.

Der vollständige Name der Wieskirche lautet Wallfahrtskirche zum Gegeißelten Heiland auf der Wies. Erbaut wurde die Wieskirche von 1745 bis 1754 von den Brüdern Johann Baptist und Dominikus Zimmermann. 1983 wurde die Wieskirche zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt und von 1985 bis 1991 für 10,6 Millionen DM restauriert. The Wies. Pilgrimage Church of the "Scourged Saviour". The Organ: "A melody for the eye" The organ can be dated back to 1757. In 1959 the organ builder renovated the organ, returning it to the system of the baroque slider wind chest. Where possible the original pipes were built back into the organ.
