Our first stop of the weekend was to Malham Cove. It’s a 230ft (70m) sheer limestone rockface which was created by glaciers pulling away rocks from the Middle Craven Fault each time the glaciers melted. Now that the glaciers have melted, the water flows under the ground now, but there would have been a huge waterfall as they melted. How amazing would that be to see?! Nowadays, it’s popular throughout the year for expert climbers and you can see why! It’s huge!

Well, you’ll probably be surprised, but we had a lovely afternoon at the RSPB Bempton Cliffs. We were looking for things to do in East Yorkshire for one of our recent campervan trips, and Bempton Cliffs kept popping up. Well they were supposed to be bluebells, but in this late evening light they weren't so blue.. Have to confess to tweaking the sky a little, used a touch of red digital filer to the sky only, it was looking so bland.. :-) I don't think this new Flickr shows off portrait shots as well as it does the landscape ones.
