The challenge this week from Laura at I am the Diva was to do a tangle with "No Strings Attached". We were to create a tile, zendala, or ZIA without using a string. I had a lot of fun with this one and took 3 different approaches. We have recently been catching up with the first four series of "The Big Bang Theory", a program which makes me laugh out loud. So my first Zia was based on the "Big Bang!" The second idea I was inspired by a tile from last week's challenge, Sorry I can not remember who's tile this was. It was to use Hollibaugh and tangle the spaces (I hope that doesn't count as a string) For the third ZIA I decided to take a random approach. Using the Tangle Patterns website I asked one of my family to randomly choose a letter, then depending on how many tangles started with that letter I got them to choose a random number, this gave me my first pattern. I just kept going like this until I had filled up the whole page. This is fun as it takes the control away from you and I used some patterns that before I had skipped past without even considering. You also have to find a way to make these random patterns work together. Tuftid, Moving Day, Basketweave, Me-three, Scrumble, XYP, Emingle, Diagonals, Yang, Pane, Kinetic, Cracked,Cirquital, Cross Stitch
I made this one specifically for my junior students, grades 1-3. Sourced from all over and including some made up be me and my students.
This week’s Diva Challenge was in honor of Halloween. There are so many ways to tangle and involve patterns that fit for this holiday, but I chose just one (and a little Msst). And it’…
Hier ist mein Beitrag: This weekend I spent home with lots of time for tangling. I haven`t tangeled for a week and so I am full of motivation and ideas to try. And now I present you the results of this creative days... My first tile was for Annettes "Mosaic Project #5" I love this project a lot and I have not missed one yet. Annette creates so beautiful and stunning mosaics with the tiles from many participants. This is my contibution : Tangle- Mosaik Projekt #5 Dann war die DIVA Challenge #290 dran. Next I drew the tile for the DIVA Challenge. This week we should draw a doutangle with 'Nzeppel and Flux. As both belong to my absolute favourites, I did not want to miss this challenge. I decided to use a Zandala tile and I am rather happy with the result. I coloured the Zendala tile first with a Little bit of Brusho, lime green. Later I drew some tiles which I coloured with my new Brusho watercolour powder. I tried many things and I would like to show you some of them here: (For the tangle "featherfall" I would like to advise you a blogpost by Sabrina Stein CZT) Brusho "Crimson" und "Featerfall" Brusho "Turquoise" and DEX Brusho Turquoise , Florz, Diva Dance, Cubine, Bunzo Bijou mit Crazy Huggins Und zum Schluss habe ich etwas für mich ganz Neues probiert: Ich habe verschiedene Tapes auf schwarze Tiles geklebt und dann darauf/ drum herum getangelt. And last I tried something new to me: I added stripes of several tapes on black tiles and tangeled on and around them. An interesting result, as I think, may be I will try some more... black tile with two tape stripes and some tangles black tile with 4 tape stripes and cubine
for the diva U made this. in all honesty I must say that the design of the hands is not mine. I comes from internet...I just tangled it.
