Tanzwut are back witch a new album "Eselsmesse", which will be released on June 6th, 2014 and with a video for the song Unsere Nacht from that same album. Tanzwut started as a side project of medieval band Corvus Corax. You may recognize Teufel, central figure of Tanzwut, with his little devils horns haircut as a bagpipe player in Corvus Corax. Tanzwut debuted as a hybrid between Corvus Corax purist medieval sound with authentic instruments and modern electronic music. Slowly Tanzwut evolved to a more medieval rock/ folk rock sound, sporadically even journeying on the paths of medieval metal like In Extremo, earning itself a place in Germany's popular Mittelalterrock scene (amongst bands like Subway to Sally, Saltatio Mortis, Letzte Instanz, Schandmaul and In Extremo).
