"Skyline diffusers improve recording and listening environments by diffusing, or scattering, specific frequencies of sound waves when reflecting off of surfaces. Instead of sound hitting a flat wall and reflecting directly back at you, a diffuser disperses the reflection of the sound wave and interrupts it from being directly reflected back at you. These skyline diffusers have a set mathematical grid for the blocks, which also have specific widths and lengths for the diffuser to work. Wooden block color varies from dark blue to green and almost white. || Dimensions || 31.5 inches (80 cm) in width 19 inches (48 cm) in height 2.75 inches (7 cm) in depth || Weight || 21 lb (9.5 kg) - the sculpture || Shape || This dimensional wall art has a relief of 3 diagonal waves and is made of 240 wooden blocks of different heights. Blocks placed on the plywood base. Also, the work has a shadow gap, instead of a frame - to make contrast and a little levitation effect between the wall and the sculpture || Material || Natural alder wood and plywood base || Coating || Two layers of ecological acrylic paint in 5 different colors and one layer of matte acrylic varnish. Also, we added an aging effect to the paint, to see through the wood surface. Each block is painted separately from all sides. Note, that view on photos and real work - may be a little bit different due to display properties || Texture || Almost matte - with a dust effect, smooth on the touch painted wood surface || Packaging || Every sculpture is covered in a strong plywood gift crate, created by individual dimensions, and ready for worldwide shipping, to be safe on the way to your wall :) See the last photo (three crates are illustrated as an example). Also, you need a hex screwdriver to open it || Installation on the wall || All our works are hanging on two strong hooks (see main shop photos) that can keep weight 150 lb (70 kg).
