Yes I'm back at last, thank you to those who asked if I was okay........as I said to them, life just took over for a couple of months and miniatures had to take a back seat. I've been promising a giveaway for ages, a thank you to well over 300 followers, so here it is.......a Spring Potting Bench.......everything is stuck down, but there are still a few gaps for your own little details. To enter the draw these are the rules. 1. Be a follower of this blog and leave a comment under this post. 2. Like The Miniature Garden facebook page and leave a comment under the link. So if you do both things you have two entries! I will be announcing the winner on Saturday September 15th at 18.00 British time. I've come to a big decision this year, I'm stopping the ready made side of the Miniature Garden, the Kensington show in May was my last, but I'm going to be at Miniatura, The City of London Dollshouse Festival in January 2013 and Thame in February 2013, with my kits and all the related bits and pieces. I will eventually be opening a Miniature Garden Etsy shop, to sell the remaining plants I have in stock. Kit of the Month will return next month on 3rd of September. So until then Happy Miniaturing! Georgie x

This is the first post in the first day of the spring! We have sunny day and mild weather here since the weekend. It’s quite cozy and comfortable. I love the SPRIGN!!! I made some little pots of daisies and philodendron and some crates in my tiny garden. Little daisies, little bunnies and little birds are the elements of my spring! Inspired by a Taiwan friend, Linda, I tried and made a stool with woven seat. The stool was made of basswood and cotton thread. It’s not practical to use basswood since it’s that soft and it consumes a lot of time to weave the seat. I have talked to a friend cause my wood knowledge is limited. If some of you also have any good idea, welcome and please kindly share with me. The little chef has cleaned her hands and dress and has left the garden. She is on the way to the market now. Let’s see what she will prepare for the next! Shout for joy of the spring!!
